Come home, come home, Ye who are weary, come home;
...Most Reverend Shlemon Warduni, Auxiliary Bishop of the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Diocese for Chaldeans and Assyrians in Iraq officiated standing directly beneath the dome under the Chaldean cross. Speaking in both Arabic and English, Bishop Warduni thanked those American soldiers sitting in the pews for their sacrifices. Again and again, throughout the service, he thanked the Americans.
.........Today, Muslims mostly filled the front pews of St Johns. Muslims who want their Christian friends and neighbors to come home. The Christians who might see these photos likely will recognize their friends here. The Muslims in this neighborhood worry that other people will take the homes of their Christian neighbors, and that the Christians will never come back. And so they came to St Johns today in force, and they showed their faces, and they said, Come back to Iraq. Come home. They wanted the cameras to catch it. They wanted to spread the word: Come home. Muslims keep telling me to get it on the news. Tell the Christians to come home to their country Iraq.
.........Its been a long time since Ive seen any fighting. I cant remember my last shootout: its been months. The nightmare is ending. Al Qaeda is being crushed. The Sunni tribes are awakening all across Iraq and foreswearing violence for negotiation. Many of the Shia are ready to stop the fighting that undermines their ability to forge and manage a new government. This is a complex and still delicate denouement, and the war may not be over yet. But the Muslims are saying its time to come home. And the Christians are saying its time to come home. They are weary, and there is much work to be done.

We have done it. We, America, have won, Iraqi's have won. The cost of freedom there has been very very high, but now they are owning it! God bless them! I thank you God!

Wonderful article: Muslims urging their Christian neighbors to return home so they can work together to rebuild. A true sign that even if the Iraqi government is slow to move, the citizens aren’t. They have achieved peace and now want to build their future. And, BTW, the picture of the little girl playing with her sister’s pigtails during the service looks just like any Sunday at my Lutheran church.

We can fight terror with our armed forces, but lets face it, only when the Iraqi population embraced the government, took back their country, which the US gives their lives for, did this war truly turn and victory was at hand. It is happening and is a model as to how we will defeat Qaeda every where around the world.

And where is our traitorous LameStreamMedia, with this news????
No where.
Why?
Because they were completely invested with the Dims in our defeat.
A recent article in Investors Business Daily had the stats - the level of the media coverage of Iraq is in direct opposite proportion to the level of bad news in Iraq. As the good news from Iraq increases the level of ALL news on Iraq decreases. Reason, the good news should NOT get out.

I don't think any Christian in his/her right mind who has fled from Iraq to a western country would even think of going back there. The new Iraqi government pretty much ensured this mass exodus when it adopted a national constitution in which Islam is enshrined as the official state religion.
It's amazing how these Muslim countries all slide into the sh!tter once the Christians leave.

There are persecuted Christians everywhere in the world - they'd probably rather not suffer for their faith, but their faith trumps everything.

I asked Ice if the Muslims treat the Christians poorly in Iraq, and he said what other Iraqi Christians and Muslims have also told me: an unequivocal No. Ice said they had no problems at all until al Qaeda instigated friction between people.What we know today as the 'insurgency' is not home grown at all, but mainly foreign fighters coming into Iraq trying to force changes on the society that fit THEIR notions of religious intolerance, notions which were never part of Iraq's society. I'm sure it was always their intention to do so when Sadaam left power, by death or displacement.
