“She announced earlier this year that she and her second husband, Brian Blosil, are divorcing.”
Luckily for her, there is no marriage in Heaven. Otherwise, it’s going to be mighty confusing.

Yeah, great kid, a freakin crackhead. Hail Hollyweird where the aberration is a non addicted, straight individual who loves their country, supports the military that gave us all our freedoms and can actually speak a complete sentence without using the terms “uh” or “you know” or “like”.

I wish him well.
Every time I hear about Marie Osmond I am reminded of the girl on my high school bus who used to sing Paper Roses to and from school every day.

Boys go through puberty between 11 and 16. It can really be tough on them. Having an 11 year old just starting the process and friends in the middle of it, it can be difficult.
I wish him the best.

I have a lot of interest in what my kids are doing. I have zero interest in what the kids of celebrities are doing.
It is unfortunate that there are so many mindless Americans who don't have lives of their own and have to occupy themselves with this stuff. It is unfortunate that Marie feels she has to speak to such mindless dolts.
That being said, I respect her because unlike most of the celeb crowd, she does what she is paid to do-- entertain. I do not recall her ever using her celeb status to undermine the very country which gave it to her. The same cannot be said about most of Hollywood and much of the music industry.

Don’cha just luv how all these celebs have the need to air their dirty laundry to the world. We little people keep our mouths shut on such embarrassments.

God bless Marie and her son. She’s had a tough year. I hope her son gets and stays sober - it’s tough on someone so young to actually attempt this.

My son, Michael, is an amazing young man, shown through his courage in facing his issues. As his mother I couldn't be more proud of him," the 48-year-old singer said.Oh, I don't know, I think she could possibly manage to be prouder of him. I don't think that any situation that necessitated rehab is an occasion for pride, and I would definitely not feel pride if either of my children had to go into rehab for any reason.
Sorry, I just hate this common formulation that there is something noble and wonderful about people who are in rehab. It's a lot more noble and wonderful to go through your life without getting involved in whatever made you have to go to rehab in the first place, and most adults and kids are able to conduct their lives without requiring it.

I did not see it in the article posted here on FR, but I had read earlier in the day that this son was one of her adopted children. I have known people with adopted children who go through periods of rebellion, depression, etc. because of their being adopted out, sort of like being rejected by their birth parents. It is an agonizing thing to go through.

How this story came out can be blamed on Larry King. Yes Larry King. His 17th wife is (was) a good friend of Marie’s. MO went on LK to speak of the passing of her father, and to promote Dancing w/the Stars. LK hardballed Marie (a total blindside question). Nice to know Larry saves his tough questions for the likes of Marie...she is an easy target...wouldn’t want to embarass a pol. MArie seems to be a little ditzy (if you have ever seen her on QVC selling her dolls)...but her heart seems to be in the right place.

Damn, you have get famous first to have complete strangers offer prayers for your children, otherwise they’ll cuss you for asking why they, strangers, offer prayers for some famous strangers children, and at the same ignore all the misery that’s around them, as well as your own misery, that some of them may be causing!
