The King of Spain and Aznar are good men. the current idiot who replaced Aznar deserves Chiraq’s fate.

And good for the King for what he said to Chavez.

Mostly. I've checked a couple of websites including a forum on El Mundo and there is a pretty overwhelming response that Chávez was being a jerk and that he was appropriately dressed down by the King of Spain.

Another thing that might not be apparent by those who don't speak Spanish is that the King of Spain used the informal 'you' when talking to Chávez (informal "por qué no te callas" vs. formal "por qué Ud. no le calla"). Typically you would always use the formal 'you' when talking to talking to elders, professors, people you don't know, and statesmen. You use the informal 'you' when you talk to close friends and children. So in this case Chávez was dressed down as a child.

Aznar, a conservative who was an ally of Bush as prime minister, "is a fascist," Chavez said in a speech at the Ibero-American summit in Santiago, Chile. "Fascists are not human. A snake is more human."

And thus is how petty dictators like Chavez justify murdering people they don't like.

Not as good as Chavez getting pimp-slapped, but this will work.

This is the same guy who said “over my dead body” to coup attempts to start Spain’s second civil war. Sometimes a leader needs “Cojones” when dealing with animals masquerading as humans.

Be my guest plus it’s known that Hugo downs lots of coffee each day. He brags about it. Hugo’s manic episodes come from too much caffeine

Yes Franco was good for the Jews. He helped during WW2. Some say he had Jewish ancestry. I hear learning about ones converso roots is popular in Spain

IMHO it was a set up. Juan Carlos and Zapatero knew that Chavez was going to cross the line and they took advantage of it on a Saturday night prime time.

Please, take into account that National Elections in Spain are coming in three months, and Zapatero has a weak image among Spaniards as result of his concessions to ETA, Morocco, France...

Communism, pure and simple, in our own hemipshere.

Nicaragua....Bolivia...Venezuela.

Of course, if these idiots don't mind their Ps and Qs, they are liable to end up like the Allende whom they idolize in this photo.
