I honestly had no idea that Spain still had a King.
Funny anecdote: Jeb Bush made the same mistake once on a visit to Spain. He referred to Aznar (then "presidente del gobierno", i.e. head of government /
minister president ) as "presidente de la republica", i.e. President of the Spanish republic.
But Spain is no republic, it's a consitutional monarchy.
