I’m looking at the new class of gas-piston action AR type rifles in 6.5 Grendel (an XCR conversion perhaps, or the poorly named Masada when it comes out). I hope the armed forces adopt 6.5 Grendel on a widespread basis, it could potentially replace both the 5.56 and 7.62 rounds for the majority of applications.

I don't know which gun you're referring to, but the Roman siege at Masada, if I recall, is regarded by many Jews as a high point in their history, something of which they're very proud. From a marketing perspective, it actually makes very good sense to me. Smacks of tough, never surrender Israeli soldiers to me.

An esteemed Professor of Criminal Pathology warned today that murderers, rapists and kidnappers, among the most dangerous people to irritate, are likely to rise up if “right wing, letter of the law” types continue to seek prosecution of their crimes.
