Obama Irritated by Internet Photo The Associated Press Wednesday, November 7, 2007; 6:23 PM BURLINGTON, Iowa -- Barack Obama complained on Wednesday about an Internet photo that claims the Democratic presidential candidate didn't hold his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance. "This is so irritating," Obama said when asked about the photo in Muscatine, Iowa.

Obama says the following:

A woman also asked Obama about the photo Tuesday night during a town hall meeting in Cedar Rapids, evoking a similar reaction.

“This is the classic dirty trick of the campaign,” Obama said.

He added that he’s often the target of anonymous criticism on the Internet.

“You’ve got e-mails saying I’m a Muslim plant trying to take over America,” Obama said. “We’ve seen this before.”

He advised the woman to tell the sender of the e-mail the real story.

“You don’t have to curse them out, just tell them they’ve got their facts wrong,” he said.

Okay: just WHO is doing the “classic dirty trick”. If there is a problem here, then WHO is creating that problem? His comments just leave it out there to fill in the blanks, which, as we all know, must be racist conservatives, not Klintoonistas, right?

From this story, Barack Hussein still didn’t explain why. “Dirty tricks” isn’t an excuse.

Look, B. Hussein Obama. You aren't even going through the charade most Democrats do. Your disdain for America was shown when you said our soldier's lives in Iraq were "wasted".

Of course, your media handlers snapped you back into shape and you retracted the comment, blaming it on "fatigue" or some such nonsense.

This action is also now on record. Get irritated all you want. :)

If this photo was taken during the singing of the Anthem, then why do Hillary, Richardson and the woman in background have their hands over their hearts? A little al-taqqiya perhaps?



And if it was taken during the Anthem, as Obama insists, then why is he not singing? Why is nobody singing? This guy is lying - - still.

I don't put my hand over my heart during the Anthem either but stand at attention. Hand over heart = Pledge of Allegiance.

Hillary saw Bubba near some chick with a beret...and that was her "be still my heart" reaction.

Now that is clearly a lie.

1. Obama's grandfather was a devout Muslim and it is haram (forbidden) for Muslims to show allegiance to anything but Islam.

2. When Obama was 2, he lived in Hawaii. His grandfather was in deepest, darkest Africa - - and where would a farmer living in Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, learn the Pledge?

3. Who among us can remember what happened when they were two years old?

Why yes B.O., YES it IS irritating that a presidential hopeful doesn't have the respet or intelligence to cover his heart during the anthem.

In fact I will add that it is offensive as well.

He studied for 2 years at a government-run school. It was not a Wahhabi school.

In 1971, Obama entered the Besuki Primary School and was enrolled as Barry Soetoro, Muslim.

All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school and a young Barry Soetoro, being a Muslim, would have been required to study Islam daily in school.

He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.

In his autobiography, "Dreams From My Father," Obama mentions studying the Quran and describes the public school as "a Muslim school."

According to Tine Hahiyary, one of Obama's teachers and the principal from 1971 throuh 1989, Barry actively took part in the Islamic religious lessons during his time at the school. His teacher was named Maimunah and she lived in the Puncak area, the Cianjur Regency.

"I remembered that he had studied "menjaji" (recitation of the Quran)" Tine said.
