PI 'admits' Hillary paid him to harass Willey

Kathleen Willey's new book publishes for the first time an alleged admission by private investigator Jack Palladino that he was hired by Hillary Clinton to investigate Willey and bore responsibility for acts of harassment and intimidation designed to silence her explosive testimony of sexual assault by President Clinton in the Oval Office.

In "Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton," released this week by World Ahead Publishing, WND Books' partner, Willey presents the claim by San Francisco talk-radio host Melanie Morgan, who recounts a private conversation she had with Palladino and his wife, Sandra Sutherland, at a conference in 2003.

Asked by WND to respond, the San Francisco-based Palladino recalled speaking at the conference and said he might have met Morgan, but he emphatically denied having a conversation that bore any resemblance to her claims and suggested several times he could sue the KSFO talk host for libel.

"It's total fantasy," he told WND. "No, that's too kind; it's a lie."

Morgan, a WND columnist, said she was not surprised by Palladino's response and stands by her story "100 percent."

Follow the money (and look at these links)

The White House Plays Ruff ~ Just Who Is Charles F. C. Ruff?

...........As part of their case, Hoffa's lawyers plan to detail the "work product" of CHARLES RUFF, now White House counsel, who briefly worked for the Teamsters under Carey. In 1993 Ruff allegedly paid Jack Palladino, a San Francisco private detective, more than $150,000 out of Teamsters funds for unspecified services. A House subcommittee that had tried to investigate the payment was stymied by legal objections from Ruff and Carey. There have been allegations that the money was for work Palladino did for Clinton in his 1992 campaign to keep stories of sexual misconduct from becoming public, or that the money was used to suppress Teamster dissidents. Ruff has denied the allegations as "false and nonsensical." (Calls to McAuliffe's attorney were not returned.) The proposed lawsuit will contend that government monitors failed to do their job overseeing the Carey administration and, "as a result," says a source close to the suit, "more than $20 million of taxpayer money was wasted on one election and the union went bankrupt." If Hoffa is successful, the Teamsters may be in for a windfall. Under racketeering statutes, successful plaintiffs can recover as much as triple the damages...

I like how he first suggests he "might" have met her:

"the San Francisco-based Palladino recalled speaking at the conference and said he might have met Morgan"

He then claims he never did ANY work for Hillary Clinton, which WND refutes with this nugget:

"Michael Isikoff first reported in the Washington Post Palladino was hired in 1992 for more than $100,000 in "legal expenses" to handle what Clinton aide Betsey Wright called "bimbo eruptions."

Then they bust him with Melanie's recounting of how the wife reacted to what he was saying:

"Palladino, according to Morgan, indicated his work was "more like dumpster diving," but the talk host says the investigator "smiled when he said it and looked at his wife, and alarm bells were going off, like 'Shut up!" "

But the man who says that he only "might" have met Melanie Morgan suddenly changes the tune to explain away his wife's reaction to his big mouth that evening:

""My wife often looks at me like alarm bells are going off," he laughed, "but for other reasons – after 31 years of marriage, you know." "

And then he ends by refusing to answer whether he engaged in intimidation campaigns against the women Clinton sexually abused:

"He ended the conversation abruptly, refusing to answer questions about whether he had any role in intimidation campaigns."

Well wait - I thought it was all a lie by Melanie Morgan. Shouldn't then he be able to answer WND's questions with denials rather than saying he will not answer those questions?

"Palladino knows better than to ‘go there’ for the simple reason the ‘discovery process’ would open a huge can of worms for himself, and every client he’s ever worked for."

BINGO!

So bring on the lawsuit Mr. Palladino, inquiring minds here at FR want ALL the details to come out!!

Melanie Morgan is good people and highly respected. Her name may actually give this one some traction. We’ll see.

WND at times can be wing-nutty... but Melanie Morgan is principled and does not lie.

"I don’t suppose Morgan tape recorded the interview....."

The way I read it this wasn't an interview but Melanie managing to catch him off guard at a reception (for crime books or whatever it was) and being lucky that he may have had a few drinks in him! :-)

"WND must be hurting for cash lately."

Yes, that's the ticket (Note Sarcasm on my part).

Melanie Morgan, who doesn't get paid by WorldNetDaily, decided to throw away her credibility, destroy her radio show, bring down the pro-troop non-profit she heads, all so she can make up a story to help Kathleen Willey, in exchange for not seeing one red cent from the matter.

I don't think that makes a lot of sense BritExPatInFla...
