Personally, I feel that hate crime legislation is racist in nature and biased as well. It is entirely subjective and should have no part in Law.

In Taylor’s defense, I must point out that the double lightening bolts were stolen by Hitler from “Flash Gordon” movies. They also showed up in “Star Wars,” “Mary Poppins,” the “Our Gang” series, and in “Dumbo, Speaker of the House”.....
I would not say that it constitutes a crime, but if he had pointed to the tatoo and then physically threatened or hurt him then it would cross the line and be classified as a crime. The neanderthal in question is indeed in spirit a hateful person, who probably thrives on this twisted logic of his to justify his being. I have been on the receiving end of these racist rants: hey gook, chink, jap - you love long time? Plus my younger sister recently was on a receiving end of a racist rant from a white neanderthal - he blocked her in a shopping center parking lot and she kindly asked him to move, to which he replied: no, you f-—ng gook - little did he know that we were Japanese-Irish.
