Dad, you are a true hero here. Thanks for your courage and strength supporting your son and his buddies.
Pray for W and SoldierDad’s Son
Not a hero. Just a proud dad. My son and those he has served with, along with all of our troops, are the heroes.
You have take plenty of grief on this bored and deserve plenty of credit. Thanks for keeping us updated. And yeah, you should be busting with pride. Give him a hug for us.
Pray for W and SD’s Son
The grief I can handle through the many FRiends I have made here. The support here has done sooo much to keep our spirits up and help us through the past 16 months. There are people here who deserve much more credit than I for all they have done. I will give him a huge hug when he is home, and I’ll share pictures of that homecoming on the Canteen. December 15th is the day.
My neighbor kid across the street is coming home around Thanksgiving from Riadi. His mom is also proud and has changed her tune from a wildeyed Dem to someone who understands what her son is doing.
Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops

MSM and the Democrats hate when there is any positive news about our military, so they are now going with the party line that this was the worst year ever for military deaths.

BAGHDAD
The U.S. military on Tuesday announced the deaths of five more soldiers, making 2007 the deadliest year for U.S. troops despite a recent downturn, according to an Associated Press count.
At least 852 American military personnel have died in Iraq so far this year — the highest annual toll since the war began in March 2003, according to AP figures.
The grim milestone passed despite a sharp drop in U.S. and Iraqi deaths here in recent months, after a 30,000-strong U.S. force buildup. There were 39 deaths in October, compared to 65 in September and 84 in August. .....
