If we say were calling on behalf of your bank, than piss and moan to your bank because they are the ones who hire the companys who we work for to call you, they are the ones who sell our companys your information. There is no use bitching at some guy or girl that is making $8.00 an hour. Ask to be put on the Callers do not call list, you must say the word “list” just saying dont call me again wont work. If I were to put someone on the “do not call list” for simply telling me not to call them anymore, I would get written up.

Actually I do not piss and moan, but I do use other tactics. I do not care who you are representing. You called me, you interuppted me, you annoyed me. I do not buy ANYTHING from a phone call (or mailer for that matter) and I resent the facvt that you seem to think that just because it is your job, it’s ok. It’s not. I am on the Federal Do Not Call list, and yet I still get calls.

Besides, can’t you find a job that pays over $8 an hour?

i recently received a telemarketer call that was a recording.
i picked up, waited & pressed the # to receive more info.
i then hung up. a few seconds later the phone rings & i get another recording & prompt from the same #, only the message is the local jail asking me if i will accept charges for this call.

are inmates now being paid to telemarket ??!!

Years ago when I worked the graveyard shift, and before the national don't call list, I got a call from an insurance salesman. I told him I couldn't talk right now, but could he give me his number and I'd call him back.

So at 2:00 AM while at work I gathered a few friends from the shop floor in an office with a speaker phone and I called him back. Yes he was making his cold calls from home.

After waking him up I told him I had the time now to talk about insurance. We all had a good guffaw when he told me to get f***ed and slammed the phone down.
