French President Nicolas Sarkozy will give a speech before members of the US Congress on November 7 during a two-day official visit to the United States, Sarkozy's spokesman said on Friday.

"To be invited to give a speech before Congress is a very great honour which is given only exceptionally to a foreign guest. We are very honoured," Sarkozy's spokesman David Martinon said.

This will be a very exciting an historic meeting.

Since Presidents Bush and Sarko already have a strong personal relationship, after their informal talks in Kennebunkport, we can expect very product meetings, and a united front against the War on Terror.

Let's hope the MSM will cover this event.

We’ll know it’s a really special relationship when GWB starts calling him “Sarky Sark”.

Good to see Sarkozy still functioning, and perhaps some interests aligning.

I wonder where all of the “Bush is hurting our image abroad” crowd will be when Sarkozy gives that address?

Seems to me the tide is turning.

If Hillary is elected President, then Sarkozy will be the leader of the free world.

And that will be the last time that the Dems invite him to address Congress.

When France comes on board with the USA, Germany and Great Britian do we need to send the islamic lunatics a get well card? I love the History of France, at one time it was the capital of civilization, this leader has his head in the right place. viva la france.
The bravest men that ever lived died in France. They were young Americans, British, French and Germans et al

Sarko might be and could be the next Leader of the World, remember boys and girls, you owe your heritage today to France. Charles Martel is the reason you live so well today in a Christian Country. History favors France, it has always been the friend of America. Just shows up late to the party.

Same could also be said that we owe our heritage to King Leonidas at the Battle of Thermopylae and Themistokles at the Battle of Salamis. Greeks were the first to fight off the Asian horde. But Charles Martel’s victory at the Battle of Tours saved Europe from the Islamic threat for another 800 years.

Read the history of Duke Odo, the muslims crusaded against the people of Bordeaux, France and killed every one of them.

Shortly after Charles Martel came and went down in history.
You will never see the MSM tell this story. This story takes the victimhood of muslims away.

Naah, ya got it all wrong! It was really Don Quixote who destroyed the islamic fleet at the battle of Lepanto!

Seriously though, Miquel Cervantes actually was there and fought in that battle.

I would rather have him give his message to the next Congress, which will hopefully be a Republican majority again. (Hint, Hint)

Abd er Rahman decided to invade Aquitaine to punish Odo. Duke Odo was defeated at the Battle of Bordeaux. The city was put to the sword, with great slaughter of Christians. As Abd er Rahman’s army fanned out to devastate the surrounding countryside, Duke Odo, in desperation, turned to Charles, Mayor-of-the-Palace of the Frankish Kingdom of Austrasian. Charles held the main power in the Frankish Kingdoms, the actual Kings being more puppet rulers than anything else. Charles agreed to march to Odo’s aid, but only if he were to submit to Frankish rule. Je suis Bordeaux

If Rino Arnold of Calyfornia, and Sarkozy of France were somehow both made eligible for the Presidency, my vote would go to Sarkozy.
