I'm sure Jimmy had some good advice. Meeting with Clinton would have made more sense. In fact we could bring Bubba in as a negotiator, he could share a Peace Prize with Condi.

To paraphrase Rush, I think this is a brilliant idea: ask Carter what he would do - then do the exact opposite.

What is it with chasing the fraud of Middle East Peace for a legacy that makes Presidents lose their mind?

Total insanity. Discussing our security with one of the biggest internal enemies of America. Washington is TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL. Is this just simple insanity or a form of political pandering of the highest order ??

“Former President Jimmy Carter met Wednesday with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to discuss ways Carter and other senior statesmen might help support administration efforts to broker peace among Palestinians and Israelis. “

Just another example of the disintegrating mind siting in the White House.

Easy, they should just keep their mouths shut.

Condi met with Dhimmi Jimmuh!?!??!?! On the “peace process”!?!??!?!?! GAG-o-rama! That’s a sure sign Israel is about to get screwed big-time. Jimmuh is one of the biggest Israel-haters around. What is this Administration thinking? (rhetorical question - it is pretty obvious what they’re thinking).

I can’t believe this adminsitration would let Jimmy Carter have anything to do with any foreign affairs. If they did, I would think they have completely lost it.

Like asking Dennis Green for help on winning the Super Bowl.

Two incompetent people trying to solve the problems of the ME. Boob jimmuh is the reason we are in this current mess. Rice should know by now that she is no Golda and no Arab is going to take her seriously. They may be polite when she makes offers of money but that is as far as it will go.

The Elder’s Group? Look at who some of the members are!

Carter is part of the so-called Elders Group, South African President Nelson Mandela. former U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan chaired by South African Bishop Desmond Tutu, former Carter aide Robert Pastor, interim co-director of the elders group.

Bunch o’ real elderberries!

Ask Jimmah to get back to the Sudan for a visit with his brutal Islamic totalitarian buddy of a dictator.

That is time better spent and we are always safer when he is a far away from the U.S. as possible.

Even if they don’t intend to take Jimmy’s advice, by doing this they are lending him legitimacy and suggesting that this antisemitic jackass has the President’s authority to interfere in the Middle East.

Insane.

"Former President Jimmy Carter met Wednesday with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to discuss ways Carter and other senior statesmen might help support administration efforts to broker peace among Palestinians and Israelis."

Is there any question now why this country and the world is so screwed up?
Any remaining respect I had for Condi (and there wasn't much) has just vanished. What a useless (insert word).

Asking the one person who played a big role in making the Palestinian terrorist movement- and the entire ME terrorist movement- what it is today for "advice" has got to be the most idiotic thing she has done to date. May as well give nukes to the terrorists.
This shows that she has no grasp of the situation whatsoever; she's just following the same old "Palestinian" lie that a foundation of peace can never be built on.

One more year. Can we survive?
