Psalm 666

Posted on 10/22/2007 2:31:06 PM PDT by Gopher Broke

The Hillary Rodham Psalm

Hillary is my shepherd, I shall not want.

She makes me to bow down to big government.

She leads me beside the abortion clinic.

She restores gun control.

She leads me in the paths of socialism, for her name's sake.

Yea, though i walk through the valley of liberalism, I will fear no evil; for Hillary is with me.

Her benefits and handouts, they comfort me.

Hillary prepares a health care system before me, in the presence of my better judgement.

She fills my head with promises.

My welfare cup runneth over.

Surely, higher taxes and illegal immigration will follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Clintons' forever!

I’m usually loathe to Scripture parodies, but this one is the true exception.

If you're talking about not being impressed with Hillary, I agree, she doesn't impress me either (but she does scare the 'crap' out of me)...

"Personally I am not the least bit impressed."

I thought it was rather clever, though I don't know how I feel about the biblical foundation for the "verse."
It gave me a funny feeling in reading it, which usually means it ain't kosher.

WRT Hillary!, there are passages about the anti-Christ, but I don't think they are in Psalms. ;o)

As a parody it is clever, but I’m not too comfortable with clever parodies that use the Volume of Sacred Law for their base — as this one has done. What is next? The Sermon on the Mount? Or St John 1? Dunno — every beautiful passage of Holy Writ could be used for very clever parody... and I’m not so sure I’d be too happy to see that.

O.K. lets try a Hillary without Bible references!

There once was a “Liberal” from New York
We all know her husband’s a dork
Her “health care for all”
Will lead to our fall
For her mouth we need a big cork

This is my opinion

My thoughts, also.

There are PLENTY of legitimate Bible Passages
to describe Hilary without mocking God’s Word.
Anybody remember Jezebel.

Most American won’t remember this (but Christians who know scripture SHOULD have caught it at the time).

The Clintons will USE scripture (or the twisting of it) for their own SAKE.

When Bill made his accetpance speech at the Democratic Convention after winning the nomination the first time, he made the following “scripturual” refernece:

“For the eye has not seen, or the ear heard, what WE CAN DO together.”

The sorry scumbag replaced “..what GOD will do for those who love Him” with “WE”...putting MAN in the place of GOD.

I don’t suppose the word “arrogance” is ever mentioned in the same sentence with your name is it?

Take a look at the postings on the thread and see how much company you have....arrogant people usually don’t have a lot of company.

You are being silly..this NOT mocking God’s word...Mocking God’s word is what the democrats do when they intentionally take scripture out of context for their own sake...

The poster did NOT lay claim to this being scripture, but poked fun at both the fake faith of the democrats and the reality of their “faith” in government to solve the problems of man.
