Bravo!!!

Well said Swat.

Let’s not forget too that a Clinton presidency has bad implications for those of us wearing the uniform of our armed services as well.

I served the first time under Saint Bill of Fellatio...we don’t need a return to that kind of military strategery EVER again.

Sounds like Beau is a typical Lib...take care of the superficial “feel good” stuff...ignore and sweep under the rug the real red meat issues affecting the people of the state he serves.

Don't you actually have to include a little truth in parody?

You just need to include whatever will make the audience laugh. If the audience has been preconditioned, they may have a different variety of truth than what you are accustomed to.

I think we need to listen to people like Kasparov on issues like this.

Vlad is very blatantly consolidating power and eliminating possible adversaries.

Bear bombers being intercepted...claiming the North Pole for the Motherland?

I’m sorry but when you’re the former head of the KGB...you don’t turn in your gold plated Communist Party membership card when a temporary case of Democracy breaks out in your country.

Exactly right. My husband retired before Clinton was elected and a whole lot of the people who served with him who had planned on going past 20 years changed their minds when he was elected and got out before he took office if they could. Some of them told us they didn’t want his signature on their retirement certificate. Some who didn’t have enough time to get out then, got out as soon as they could. I didn’t know of any service person who voted for him. That is probably one of the reason old ALgore tried to throw out all the military votes in 2000.

Now to follow Garry Kasparov.... Richard Gere.

Now there's a stark difference. Kasparov puts his life in real peril every day he works in Russia. Gere sits in the relative safety of Los Angeles and offers nothing but vaucous prattle about "coming together" and "freedom of cultural development."

Of course that beautiful tongue-in-cheek post of mine has been swirling around in my head all week, she says ever so modestly.

Everytime I see that old guy crying because he lost his life savings....then Beau comes on and tells us...we’ll make it better.

Hey, where’s all the pubbie screen writers? Are all the talented creative people liberal Moonbats? Because this story in little old Delaware would make one of the most incredible mesmerizing political stories for a TV show and don’t tell me no one would watch. West Wing had a following.

I mean the Biden story going on is so...absolutely perfect in a smaller more comprehensible scale than one so big ordinary folks can’t grasp it whilst they are busy carrying this country on our backs and raising the citizens and soldiers of tomorrow.

It’s happening folks and when we have President Beau Biden....well damn, maybe I’ll write the story.

I met Beau, folks. Shook hands with him, talked with him. In all the planet there is no more personable fellow than Beau Biden and hey guys, ole Joe is just as friendly as heck if you get a chance to talk to him. Man ain’t been our senator since 1972 based on nothing. Biden’s probably the best democrat presidential candidate too out of the terrible choices. Delaware’s a solid blue/red state. Heh.

I’m not going back in about that Sussex county thing but I talked about it last week.

Anyhoo....Beau Biden....has eyes exactly like his Dad. Beau still has hair, a black, thick curly mess. Does anybody remember, back when Joe had hair, if it was curly?

Friendly, sat and talked to me at the Delaware state fair, I’m serious, even the pubbies all say...”Hey Beau....nice kid. Real nice kid.”

Anyway....I am amused. Please forgive.

I’ve been going back and reading a lot of Ronaldus Magnus lately Bahbah.

Even going back to his stumping for Goldwater...his words then STILL ring true today.

Let me give you the whole sentence that I paraphrased.

“we, as Americans, have the capacity now, as we have had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom.”

http://www.bartleby.com/124/pres61.html

He continues to speak relavent words to us today.

We should all take heed.

Wonder what Richard Gere will have to say about his friend the Dalai Lama meeting with W...

Thanks everyone for watching and reporting on these shows...I tune in to Italian soccer on Sunday mornings for a little break from the Drive Bys' propaganda. Love hearing all your comments, though.

Personally I feel that the abortion issue should be left out of politics unless there is some impending vote or change of leglisation coming up.

I have no idea where my MP stands on this issue and as far as I am concerned I prefer it that way. If abortion becomes an issue as it seem inevitable it will be revisited in this parliament then is the time to pressure him with our wishes as normally our MPs are given a free vote on it regardless of party position because it is seen as a moral issue.

Gere actually applauded Bush's efforts on Tibet and on AIDS in Africa as "extraordinary". Of course, he prefaced his praise with "Needless to say, I have a lot of problems with this President."

I was honestly not going to continue in the National Guard in 2000 if Algore had been elected...because of one thing he said.

He was on the stump bragging about how when he was VP and put in charge of streamlining government how he’d been responsible for eliminating “400,000 government jobs” and if re-elected he wouldn’t add one single job to the payroll.

Those 400K jobs he bragged about were members of the military.

It sent a message to me about what Algore thought about the Armed Forces.

Fortuneately...baring another round of SRB...RIF’s and forced early retirements by another (God forbid) Clinton presidency...I have enough time left in before retirement that the last name of Clinton will never be on my retirement paperwork.

So that 2 year 9 month break in service was good for something. had I stayed in the entire time from 1992 on I’d have less than 5 years to retirement instead of 11.
