Homeland Security: As Nancy Pelosi tries to weaken terror surveillance, the FBI has disrupted several al-Qaida plots in New Jersey, thanks to easier phone and e-mail monitoring.
Yes, that's New Jersey, which federal investigators recently revealed is an active al-Qaida hotbed inside America.
The FBI field office in Newark has foiled terror plots by al-Qaida agents operating in the northern part of the Garden State and communicating with al-Qaida leaders in Iraq and Afghanistan. They say easier FISA monitoring is critical to disrupting plots and ferreting out the bad guys living among us.
"There are people in your county who are affiliated with known al-Qaida members overseas," Jack Jupin, the FBI agent heading the counterterror squad for Bergen County, N.J., told a reporter for The Record newspaper. And they've been communicating with them by phone and e-mail.
"There are definitely facilitators in this state," said Kevin Cruise, the FBI official heading Newark's 100-member terrorism task force of FBI and CIA agents as well as state and local police.

Democrats: Depending upon American failure in order to prosper.
Isn’t New Jersey pretty much a Democratically controlled state? It would make sense that thier bedfellow, Al Queda would base out of there since dems dont want wiretapping inside the USA.
Welcome to the Jihad, New Jersey!
I swear Nancy Pelosi has an IQ somewhat lower than room temperature.
NJ gotta love it....not.
I think her IQ is much lower then room temperature
Around Jersey City, not far from the court house ... there was a Christian family of ME descent - murdered by muzzies in the area a few years ago; the murderers were shipped back to Egypt right away to avoid prosecution, and the doofus prosecutor loudly discounted any religious significance to the case.
The room would be a walk in freezer.

Four family members slain in their Jersey City, NJ home
That family was related to the translator involved in the Lynn Stewart case. Lynn Stewart was Sheik Rahman’s lawyer. The Sheik ran a backroom mosque in Jersey City.
I thought the police found it was just two low-level thugs (one of whom had been a tenant in a property owned by the family) who had killed the ME family because they thought there would be money in the house.
Yeah, of course
There was a Coptic Orthodox cab driver that was was murdered about the same time frame as this family. The murder got on a plane I think to Egypt. Ken might be confusing the two stories. But this family was related to the translator of the Lynn Stewart case during her trial.
BUMP
OK, I didn’t know about the cab driver.
I knew the family that was killed was related to the Lynne Stewart trial translator, and I was pretty convinced at the time that the killing was an act of Muslim revenge. However, according to the police, who found one of the killers using an ATM card belonging to the father, it was simply a vicious robbery. I never saw anything about the trial and I don’t know how it turned out, though, so possibly other information came out in court.
And I also remember something about some Egyptian Muslims who were intially suspects in the one of the cases suddenly fleeing to Egypt.
The problem with a lot of these events is that the trial comes so much later and is usually conducted so quietly that unless you happen to live in that city, you never find out how it finally ends!
Lynne Stewart got a slap on the wrist and is now a paid speaker on ethics:

I know the killers were found to be ‘robbers’. I’m not convinced that it wasn’t a threat to the translator. If someone wanted to make it look like a robbery, they would strong arm or pay someone they had influence over. The message was sent to the translator by the tattoo that was carved in the girl.
