Never ever support or elect anyone claiming to be a "compassionate conservative."Considering that George W. Bush brought that slogan into our lives, are you saying we should not have supported him in 2000 and 2004? Who would have been the candidates to support in those two elections?

Sounds like aRINOld was the lesson to be learned, tootyfruityrudy is the next test question. Did we learn? I think conservatives did. It’s the CINOs that I worry about. They AGREE with aRINOld and tootyrudy.

Let me add; Never ever vote for a dem at any level, even if that specific dem seems pretty good. It is not the single dem who will cause the problems, it’s the majority he/she adds to. Don’t help the dems numbers ever.

Never ever compromise with the liberals. Compromise with liberals is a one way street. They win, we lose. I've never seen the liberals compromise with us for less socialism and more freedom.Damn right! Our idiot Repub pols haven't quite figured that out yet though, and continue to get pwn3d by the DhimmiKrats.

I think another point that might be made is that the trust you give to a new convert to the correct principles is inversely proportional to the power of the office sought, and directly proportional to the length of time since the conversion.

Sounds good, all of it...
But should I hold out for pie in the sky, too?
What candidate comes close to touching, all the above? (pie not included).
Duncan Hunter? I'd vote for him, sure...but even if he could win the GOP nomination, could he beat the witch of the East, with her army of skillful liars?
maybe...

Remember politicians don't lead they follow. They are not the government. The people are the government. They will only support or oppose a position because we allow them. Many will try to deceive you into believing otherwise. The people spoke up against amnesty for illegal aliens and the Congress Critters withered under the wrath of the people and changed their minds. We can have the same effect on other issues including, abortion, gay rights, free speech, free religion, gun control, property rights, federalism, judicial activism, illegal aliens, socialized healthcare, taxes, spending, national security, sovereignty.
RINO's are socialists in conservative clothing. They have so compromised their values in the end they have none and they are willing to suck the rest of us in with them. Don't think like them. Sometimes things are black and white with perfect clarity. Your principles are one of those things. We should be as uncompromising with our principles as our troops are determined with theirs to defend our country. Otherwise their fight will have been in vain.

1) Never vote for anyone who loves their own personal gain more than the United States of America. For example, Ronald Reagan loved America whereas the Clinton's and Bushes love some weird new world order, tri lateral commission and their money.
2) Never vote for anyone who says that they will raise taxes on gasoline.
3) Never vote for anyone will take your gun away from you.
4) Never vote for anyone who will cede our sovereignty to the UN or any other foreign entity (to make us interdependent on other nations) Never vote for anyone that promises more globalization and immigration.
5) Never vote for anyone who wants to make us Nation Builders, that we are going to democratize the Middle East or the world.

Never ever support or vote for a known RINO. They'll betray you every time and you'll always regret it in the end. Absolutely true. One needs to look no further for evidence of that than the governorship of Arnold Schwarzenegger in California.
It's really a disappointment that Rush Limbaugh and other prominent conservatives in positions of power don't have the wisdom you just shared with us.

"Never ever vote for or support a known abortionist." Big bump.
That would be voting for or supporting a supporter of murder.

Never ever vote for or support a known gay activist or supporter of gay rights. It's not about equality or fairness or compassion or any other liberal malarkey. The gay agenda is all about removing human decency and morality from our society.Amen
If there is any doubt about what homosexuals will do with any small amount of protection granted to them, check out the photos (OK, don't, you really don't want to see them) of what they have turned the streets of San Francisco into and it is all protected as a 1st amendment expression of "Free Speech". It won't be long before you won't be able to take your kids to see the White House because this will be going on the sidewalk, or why not in the Disney Land parking lot, they are just expressing their "free speech".
