Okay, I can think of quite a few individuals and organization more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize than the DC Chapter of FreeRepublic.com. But Algore? Come on! Has Algore ever stood at the gate to prevent Code Pink from demoralizing our troops as they come and go? No! Has Algore ever visited the wounded troops at Walter Reed? I don't think so! In fact, Algore has done more to circumvent his own cause by bloviating more CO2 into the atmosphere than any other man or machine on the face of the Earth. But that's okay. We don't need no stinkin' Nobel Peace badges!
And how about the Dems latest strategy for attacking Republicans and Conservatives using 12 year-old kids? Should we soon expect children substituting for the Code Pink regulars at Walter Reed? When Mrs Trooprally and I got there we were first greeted by Eric and Ingrid from Smithsburg, MD, a small town just north of Hagerstown. They're not Freepers or lurkers but heard about the Friday night rallies through the grapevine and decided to join in when they could find the time.
In the far corner of the parking lot where we set up is a small 2 story vacant building that belongs to the church next door. During the past week it apparently received a fresh coat of hot pink paint. Of course I assume the building was painted by church members. But I really can't say for sure given the odd choice of color. Could Code Pink have a hand in this? Especially since Gael Murphy may have to look for a new home.
No Mother-Of-All-Banners (MOAB) this week. Most were saying it was too windy. The lovely and gracious Landry Fan, who had to move to New Jersey last year, called Mrs Trooprally during the Freep to see how everyone was doing. We passed the phone around and had a nice chat. kristinn can tell you later about the exchange he had with a pinko that came up to our southwest corner trying to stir things up. He was wearing a shirt that had a two word message on it. But because he was wearing a jacket with it buttoned at the button you could only see the first word - which was the "F"-word. I can only speculate the second word was "UP", "STICK", "HEAD", or something like that. Just an educated guess. kristinn can fill you in later on the conversation.

It gets tiresome waiting, sometimes until the following Friday, to learn what happened the previous Friday.
DC FR Chapter Mega BUMP!!
You guyz are awesome!!
Remember the last time you were in town for a WR Freep and you heard me complaining about “cell phone people”? It’s those damn cell phone people. They put stuff off till the last minute.
;-)
LOL!
Thanks for the early report. I also hate waiting for the AARs. The hightlight of my week is hearing what you guys are up to. I loved the report of the freep at the pinko house, and await anxiously the report from kristinn about his encounter with the moonbat.
FReepmail me to be added to or dropped from this once-weekly Walter Reed ping list.
Buuump!
Thanks for the ping..I love these Freepers !
How true!
“DC chapter skipped on Nobel Prize”
How hysterically true.
The Stinky-Pinkies are getting more sparce all the time.
They look so dingy and mean-spirited.
Outstanding report. Outstanding FReepers. Thanks.
FReeper mware (above) already posted the link to this excellent WSJ editorial, Not Nobel Winners, well worth the read. Here's the link again.
BTTT
Thanks for the ping.
Great AAR.
Thank you to the DC chapter for all you do.
