Jimmy Carter, Americas most powerless, indecisive President, who allowed a mob of uneducated Iranian students to hold Americans hostage for more than a year, says he wouldnt have done anything differently.
Speaking with XM Radios Bob Edwards on Tuesday, former President Jimmy Carter (you know, the guy who gave the malaise speech) told the radio host that he would not want to have changed anything during his presidency. Well, okay, maybe one thing.
Referring to the Iran hostage crisis, Carter said, I have a specific regret in not having one more helicopter when I wanted to rescue our hostages. If I had had one more helicopter, they would have been rescued. I might have been reelected president.
Failure sucks.
The difference between you and him is that you recognize that you made a mistake.
That moron said he wouldn't change a thing about his presidency.
It's all about Jimmy.
Yes, it all sounds really stupid. But that is liberalism.
In reality, it was liberals who have cooked up the idea that Ronald Reagan had either negotiated with the Iranians or asked the Iranians (long before the election ever occurred) to PROLONG the hostage crisis until he was crowned as president.
He was president for apparently 6 minutes and the Iranians let the hostages go.
Liberals can’t believe Carter was that ineffective, so they believe Reagan did all that to make Carter look bad.
Of course, Reagan had no standing with the Iranians. Carter, “Mr. Stagflation,” was really just that bad.

jimmyh doesn't have enough intelligence to be a complete idiot.
One helicopter away from a rescue” And a few fries short of a happy meal.
I would state it differently.
Together with NP winner Al Gore, Jimmy Carter sets a standard of mediocrity so low that even a Hillary Clinton can be elected president.
I don’t know if I’ve ever had the experience of getting nauseous over words I myself have typed, but the above comes damn close.
Yuk. Ugh. Retch.

No, Jimmah, with that conflagration in the desert, it would only have been one MORE helicopter carcass to leave for the Iranians.
Thank you.
Can someone do that with this picture and Jimmuh Carter?
NO Cheers, unfortunately.
Thank you for posting that sad but wonderful memorial to those brave men who died in that desert operation.
