........Besides pulling more celebrity contributors than her Republican foe, the 61-year-old Tsongas has raked in more than twice as much cash altogether, and five times more from out of state than retired Air Force Lt. Col. Jim Ogonowski, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Any relation to the late Paul Tsongas?......
Widow of.Her commercials are ridiculous. She,all by herself, will get us out of Iraq.RIIIIIGGGHHHTTTT!
I remember her husband being referred to as “Taxongas”....
Makes me crazy....if a doctor dies, does his wife get to take over his practice????????????? Can’t understand why they allow spouses to take the deceased’s “elected” position. I hope they give the other guy a chance.
His best line was Bill Clinton as the 'Panda Bear'.
I doubt that any Republican can get elected to Congress in Massachusetts now, even in CD5 which is arguably the most “conservative” in the state (which is admittedly not saying very much). Many Republicans who used to live in that district (including yours truly) moved a few miles north to New Hampshire a long time ago.

Lots of moonbats too if I’m not mistaken.
The Boston Herald also endorsed Senator Ted Kennedy’s ‘06 re-election bid. The Boston Herald isn’t as conservative as you might think it is other than a handful of conservative columnists including Howie Carr.
Some, perhaps, but the NH counties adjacent to Mass. (Rockingham/Hillsborough) are now the "reddest" in the state. My experience has been that most of the liberal locusts have come from Vermont, Maine, New Jersey, and New York - including our new Congressthing, Carol (Ché Guevarra) Porter.
Both parties do it. The widow has a 85% chance of getting to “keep” the seat for their party. If it didn’t work so well they wouldn’t do it. Politics, pure politics..........
From what I've seen, Ogonowski is running for Congress on a platform of "I can help our district" and Tsongas is running for Congress on a platform of "I can make Bush look bad".

OK; “MOST” (51%) COME FROM 4 STATES. I’LL TAKE IT THAT 49% THEN COME FROM thegaystate..........

OOPS - well that’s for emphasis
Unbelievable.
I heard you the first time. ;-)
Amen to that. That’s how we got stuck with Hodes, Che-Porter, Lynch the midget, and the first Dem legislature in nearly a century.
