October 10, 2007 -- A Manhattan woman is suing a West Village restaurant for allegedly having her tossed out of the ladies' room for looking too manly.
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Khadijah Farmer says she's seeking an undisclosed amount for "embarrassment, humiliation and emotional distress" when she was bounced out of the Caliente Cab Company ladies' room this past June.

Maybe if she (?) didn't go out of her way to look like a man she wouldn’t be taken for a man! Just what look was PAT going for if not to look like a man?
It's like the kid who dyes his hair purple and tattoos his entire body and then gets ticked off when he gets stares from people.

Geez, I hope she doesn't dress like that when she goes in front of the judge, she will lose.
Unless I asked to have "it" prove it I would throw "it" out of the girls john too.

"A Manhattan woman is suing a West Village restaurant for allegedly having her tossed out of the ladies' room for looking too manly."Did She/He drop the pants to prove he was a she? I never would believe it without seeing the evidence.

She should have been flattered, not insulted. She’s trying to look completely male and she succeeded. The illusion was complete.

says she's seeking an undisclosed amount for "embarrassment, humiliation and emotional distress" Of course by suing and therefore making this a news item she's putting herself through tons of extra embarrassment, so I suspect she probably wasn't too embarrassed to begin with.

Maybe if she (?) didn't go out of her way to look like a man she wouldnt be taken for a man! Bingo!
I bet if this gets before a jury, most of them will take one look at her and have no question at all why she was bounced. She'll have a hell of a time trying to show malice on the part of the restaurant staff or that they were unreasonable in their decision. What if she really HAD been a man and they watched him go into the women's room, did nothing, and someone got raped/flashed/whatever?

They didn’t kick her out because they thought she looked too manly. They kicked her out because they thought she was a man.
I hate it when media plays with words.
