“Ron Paul used to be a hero on FR.......until he dared run for Prez. Im still trying to figure out what turned everyone against him.”
Not very many people are really willing to give up the big government programs. Everybody else give up theirs first. Plus, people like to be lied to.
To: mnehrling
Running for President is not what caused his support to dwindle. It was his position of issues. You have just showed how shallow a Ron Paul supporter can be.

Plus, people like to be lied to. Is that why there are still Paul supporters around?

I was OK until it got to the picture of Nancy Pelosi lying naked on her stomach.
I think I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw that...

"THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!"
Ron Paul Replies "I cant tell if I have Four Lights or a lack of Foresight?"
"Are those lights terrorists coming to kill me or praise me for helping them with their propaganda?"

Here in Drums PA I saw two Ron Paul for president signs on a Rural road yesterday. I really don’t even know who this man is. The signs were placed on St. Johns Road. Very bizzare.

The best way to describe Ron Paul is he gets a lot of applause on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report and HBO Real Time with Bill Maher.
All these shows are well known for having very left wing audiences members heckling any Republicans but they seem to love RuPaul.

his other conservative views certainly are far superior to the rest of the Republican candidates No, on the domestic front they are about the same (as Hunter and Tancredo, at least). Generally sound, if imperfect on one issue or another.
So, all else being equal, both Hunter or Tancredo are light years ahead of Paul as quality presidential material (when you factor in defense and foreign policy).
To: Extremely Extreme Extremist
At least Paul supports border security and a strong national defense. Plus a missile defense system. Even though hes partially wrong on foreign policy hed still be a better Commander-in-Chief than the Democrats and maybe even better than Rudy & Romney.now you did it - a visit from the thompsonbots (read I'll vote for my party no matter whhat even though theyve screwed my conservative values at every point) is due your way
plus he doesnt support that freaking rights grabbing surrender your freedom now patriot act

Ron Paul used to be a hero on FR.He was? Gee, I never heard of him before he decided to run for Prez.
I can tell you I'm against him because he's crazy, and so are the vast majority of his supporters.
