HillaryMatters.org is calling for people to call/email their local radio stations that carry Rush Limbaugh's show to encourage those stations to remove him because of the phony phony soldier fatwa against him.

I say, yes, let's contact our local Rush Limbaugh station today and PRAISE them for carrying Rush's show and for supporting Free Speech in America today!! I've already contacted mine (wbap.com) and it only took about 5 minutes.

I think we need to FReep our radio stations and commend them for keeping Rush on the air!

BTW--isn't HillaryMatters.org breaking the rules for a 501c by promoting this sort of thing?? I thought they were supposed to be non-profit, non-partisan, etc.!

All Rush has to do to stop this thing is hold a "Rally for the Troops" event, have 50,000 show up, and when they start chanting "We love Rush...We love Rush...", Dingy Harry will slink away.

Would also be nice to get some guys over in Iraq to hold a sign: "Senator Reid:Shut up. Rush wants us to win." Or "Real Soldiers Fight to Win". Would have a nice impact, like the one after Kerry called all the troops stupid.

Many stations are only on the air thanks to Rushs ad revenue. He usually brings in enough revenue to subsidize the local “talents” lack of it. He is their cash cow and they know it. Why do you think Err Amerika was such a failure? NO dough.

Yes!!! The best way to stop this nonsense is to make it politically clear the Dems can’t get away with these kinds of tactics anymore.

Sure, Rush can defend himself, but this is about private citizens telling these lying Dems that they aren’t going to get away with this baloney any more!!

I would also add, call your Senators and demand that Harry Reid step down from the Majority leadership post. Anyone in Congress who goes after private citizens this way needs to be removed. This kind of abuse of power will not stand. And it is up to us to demand that the Democrats feel the heat for their hubris.

I don’t know if you saw this but Mrs. Edwards is claiming that being a Talk-Radio Show Host is as physically demanding as serving in Vietnam! Take a look: “My classmates went to Vietnam, he did not. He was 4F. He had a medical disability, the same medical disability that probably should have stopped him from spending a lifetime in a radio announcer’s chair; but it is true, isn’t it? If he has an inoperable position that allows him not to serve, presumably it should not allow him to sit for long periods of time the way he does. I think this is a serious enough offense for the people who fund him, who buy ads and allow him to be on the air, need to be asked if this is what they really stand for, do they think it is all right for someone who has never served to denigrate the men and women who have simply because they are expressing an opinion. Nice resource. Unfortunately, our local station cut Rush and the closest one is too weak of a station to come in well. When we first moved from Sacramento, California, it was about the same month Rush went national, but no station was anywhere near our new place. Then, one day, I was able to pull in Rush from a radio a state away. I sat with the radio in my lap, angled so that I could hear him. I listened through static for months. Then our town got Rush! That was a happy day. Recently, they cut him, but with the Internet, I get Rush every day through online streaming. I found a
