Russia has studied the big consulting firms well. I wonder how much Syria is paying for this scope change? :)

I hope we and/or Israel hit Iran before any upgrades are done, although it probably won’t make any difference.

Time for Isreal to target Syrias air defense systems (while the russiand are there working on them).

Pootie must have gotten a pretty angry phone call from a really ticked-off Assad over the quality of the Russian air defense system that Syria paid $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for and got nothing out of.
Too funny!

Let us say you are a real smart, hard working Syrian engineer. Is there any way that you are going to sit and rot on top of a radar/missile site? If nothing happens, you rot for years. If something happens, you are smart enough to know that maybe the sneaky Jews have something. And, of course your NCO corps is just first rate, and you love your higher officers and, since everything breaks, wears down has bugs, the logistics train is on top of things like a sailor on a free hooker, right?
Nope, you are not going to do it. It would not be prudent.
So, Syrian batteries are broken, short parts, under trained, with weak NCO’s and lousy officers, all of whom are bored out of their minds and don’t trust their leaders, their underlings, their equipment or training.

The Times of London reported Tuesday that Russia has sent technicians to upgrade Syria's air defense system after Israeli electronic warfare systems allowed IAF warplanes to attack a target in Syria last month. Locking the barn door after the horses have gotten out.

Since the attack never happened, what’s the big deal?
