WEARE – A 17-year-old Henniker boy who admitted to having sex with his 15-year-old girlfriend will "absolutely" be arrested for sexual assault, police said yesterday.
On top of the pending criminal charge, police said the 17-year-old also was beaten by the girl's father after the father learned the two had sex.
It was Monday, Sept. 10 when the girl's father stormed school property and attacked the boy around 3 p.m., according to Turmelle.
The principal said he's upset at the number of people who have sided with the father over this incident.
"We all work so hard to give our kids a safe place to go to," he said. "Any time we have an act of violence, it's very upsetting because it is completely antithetical to what we're trying to accomplish."

Maybe what they did was not right. But in a case like this I am of the opinion that police and prosecutors should be out there trying to find real bad guys, and get them off the streets. Don’t waste time and tax dollars on this guy when there was no violence or force involved.
I agree with you. This is between the families, and it looks like the girl’s father presented his case effectively.

I read this in the Union Leader this morning. While I agree with the Dad, I have to say that the boy involved is only 17 and I’m not sure that what happened should make him a “convicted sex offender”... should he have to put that on job and college applications?
I think getting his ass beat by the father was probably enough. Kids will be kids after all, and he did suffer some consequences I would never want to face!

Very naive ones.......I cannot understand her. Each “boyfriend” she’s had is worse than the previous one......She seems to go out of her way to find the absolute worst human debris she can find...............

Agreed. The boy should have kept his pants on, and the girl’s father has meted out the expected and appropriate punishment.
He probably shouldn’t have done it at the school, though.

You got the facts right, but you screwed up on getting the actual message.
The action of screwing the fifteen year old netted him an ass-beating.
Why? Because actions have consequences.
If this isn’t a rape case, then it isn’t an assault case either. Which is more serious?

Beating up the kid at school sends two messages: one to his daughter that just because she’s fooling around on school hours doesn’t mean he might not be around, and one to any other guys who might have inappropriate ideas about his daughter.
Sorry, 15 is too young. I’m only 24, I can still remember being a 15 year old girl and there is no way 15 year old girls are mature enough for sex...
had been my 15 year old daughter they would have found this bit of garbage nailed to tree by his nuts and the tree on fire.
Neither is a 17 year old an adult. I am sorry, I dont see the problem here other than the out of wedlock sex. Which for me is the true issue at hand.

Though I was miserable at the time,being a complete social failure with girls during those years probably prevented me from fathering several children and having to drop out of school.
My parents made is very clear that sex was something that ADULTS do. You have sex, then you are an adult, responsible to behave like an adult. Guess what else adults do? Live on their own, pay their own bills, accept responsibility for their own actions, cover for their own tuition, and work a full-time job.
My mother also made is undeniably clear that sex was something only MARRIED adults do. Knowing what was expected of me made it so much easier to say "No" to "Mr. Right Now" and wait for "Mr. Right."
Moms, Dads, let your kids know what you expect of them and don't equivocate. Reinforce that repeatedly. They WILL listen and it WILL make an impact on them.

We seem to have gotten along fine for many years on the principle that if you bothered a girl, her big brother or her father would take care of the problem by opening a can of whoop-ass on you.
Then when you got home, you would get it all over again from your own father...
At best, your dad would say “Good for you, you deserved it!”
When I was growing up, nothing was ever the girl’s fault...
