They can idolize a philandering accused rapist as a champion of women’s rights and exhibit racism that would cause a Klansman to blush when an ‘uppity’ black man espouses conservative viewpoints. They don’t mind when a Republican Senator who may be gay is driven from office for that very reason, because the ideology trumps abslolutely EVERYTHING else.
