What a conundrum for them - here's a guy they desperately want to embrace, yet who hates Jews with a passion (a no-no with all the ultra-liberal Jews in this country) and denies that there's any gays in Iran (another no-no, since gays are exalted by liberals.)

Yes, but don’t under estimate their capacity for ‘Doublethink’. They can idolize a philandering accused rapist as a champion of women’s rights and exhibit racism that would cause a Klansman to blush when an ‘uppity’ black man espouses conservative viewpoints. They don’t mind when a Republican Senator who may be gay is driven from office for that very reason, because the ideology trumps abslolutely EVERYTHING else.
