Prayers Requested - Friend Going Home [Update #141]

Good evening to all.

I'd like to ask everybody's prayers for a friend who has fought a long and valiant struggle against cancer, but has come to the end of the fight. She's in hospice now, and it's only a matter of days before the Lord calls her home. She is a beautiful little lady, very faithful, very kind, and always busy in and around the church. She was in our handbell choir during her last remission, and played the bells next to me until she became too ill to continue.

Please pray that she suffer as little as possible, that Christ welcome her home, and that her family be comforted, especially her husband who is a deacon at our church and loves her so much. He is probably in greatest need of our prayers.

"For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

Prayers for Sandra and her Deacon husband. May they both be blessed as they encounter these last few days of her life. It is so difficult. (Lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, because I have gone through this myself.

Blessings to both of them. I’m so sorry they are in this situation. It’s so hard to trust in God’s will, but maybe they are stronger than I was at that time.
