AHMADINEJAD AT GROUND ZERO

This is worse than disgusting.

Iran's president is already causing a stir by coming to New York City and the United Nations. As if that wasn't bad enough, this Islamic fascist wants his personal tour of Ground Zero.

Instead of a resounding "You've got to be kidding," New York's Mayor Bloomberg originally went along, considering the idea that Ahmadinejad be escorted down to ground zero ... assumingly to pay his "respects." After the outrage that erupted yesterday afternoon, it's safe to say that Bloomberg may be having 2nd, 3rd and 4th thoughts.

Tax dollars are already paying for his NYPD and Secret Service security detail, while he visits New York. No doubt that his little trip downtown would also be paid for by American tax dollars.

Iran is a state supporter of terrorism. Iran is a known supporter and supplier of weapons for extremist who attack U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The idea of letting this Muslim fascist visit ground zero, where he would most likely inwardly gloat over the successes of his terrorist brothers, is outrageous. There is not one ounce of doubt in my mind that pictures of this event would soon make their way around the Islamic world with captions such as "Courageous Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (peace be upon his beard) visits the site of Islam's great victory over the infidels of the Great Satan."

The only reason we're letting this SOB into this country in the first place is because we have to ... this is where the United Nations is headquartered. Here we have yet another argument for moving the UN headquarters somewhere else.

How grand would it be to watch the UN headquarters on the East River being imploded! Maybe we could conveniently forget to tell the delegations from Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia of the pending demolition and they could take the same ride those innocents took in the World Trade Towers. Mitt Romney had a good point, "Instead of entertaining Ahmadinejad, we should be indicting him."

Update: Finally a police spokesman has announced that they will not allow him to visit:

Columbia (Colombia?) U. should bear the consequences for this outrage for years to come.

Everything from abandonment by alumni (fat chance), to strikes by union members working there, to boycotting the cesspool by college applicants, to screwing with their Federal grant funding, which is not a right guaranteed by the Constitution.

Hell, turn PETA loose on their labs, and the NAACP for their lack of representation of blacks within their faculty, student body, cleaning crews, choir, groundskeepers.....

And, worst of all, require Columbine U. to make apologies to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson....

Ironically, even though located in New York City, Columbia is a hotbed for Israel-hatred and Israeli-bashing. Former chair of its Middle Eastern Studies department was none other than the Palestinina Edward Said (late and not-so-great).

The rest of the world already thinks we are the Bad Guys. We might as well give them a REAL reason to hate us.

Let's start by nuking Mecca, preferably during Ramadan. No warning, just BOOM! Then, Teheran, and Medina. Then ask Pakistan if they are looking for a 50,000 degree flash trip to Paradise, or help joining the 21st century. They would have 48 hours to decide...

"No visa needed. He is a head of state and accordingly is allowed into the country to attend meetings and other preverted cluster events at the UN...."

He still needs a visa issued by the State Department to enter the United States.

Maybe someone else here can verify it for you.

Just because he is a head of State does not mean he has a right to enter the United States.

What would happen if 10,000 New Yorkers filled the streets to block his way?

Want to take odds that any NYPD officer would lift one finger to move them:

“Sorry, Inspector. PBA union safety meeting time.”

He has diplomatic status in connection with the UN. Even Fidel Castro has visited here...

The irony, sadly, is not a new phenomenon.

One of the biggest bashers of Israel is the New York Times. It, and other New York-based organizations with several Jewish people in their executive suites are anti-Israel. Go figure....

I understand. But he still needs to be issued a visa.

At one time I might have agreed with you. However, we in US have always considered Death to be something we inflict as an absolute last resort, with great hesitation before, and overwhelming guilt after. If and when we pull the nuclear trigger on islam, it will only be after some attack so massive and egregious that we will be mourning for decades.

My question to you is whether the mullahs, and the millions who follow them, in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Afganinstan, and so on have demonstrated 1/100th the remorse we feel for the Death they have inflicted. If they don't feel guilty about slaughtering me and mine, if I promise to feel bad about it, can I vaporize them, first?

Fred Thompson has issued this stern statement regarding Iranian Leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, his upcoming visit to the United Nations, and what we must do regarding the threat Iran poses:

Dallas, TX - Senator Fred Thompson issued the following statement today from Dallas, Texas regarding Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s upcoming visit to the United States and further called upon the UN Security Council to impose economic sanctions on the terrorist state:

“Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of the world’s premier terrorist state, is speaking before the United Nations next week. He has also asked to visit Ground Zero. If I were President of the United States none of this would have been an issue—I wouldn’t have let him into the country in the first place.

“It’s time for the world to finally send a stern message to Iran. Ahmadinejad has called for the destruction of Israel, is supporting terrorist groups throughout the Middle East, and is responsible for supplying weapons to extremists who are killing US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. And with Iran’s ongoing pursuit of nuclear weapons and development of long-range missiles, that country is a threat not only to the region and our allies, but to the entire free world. It’s time for the United Nations to take more serious action against this terror regime.

“The Security Council needs to begin placing comprehensive, multilateral sanctions on Iran’s economy, to include banning foreign investment, stopping export credits to companies doing business there, and prohibiting any business dealings with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. Iranian banks should be denied access to international banking and financial institutions, and World Bank loans should be suspended. All arms sales to Iran need to be halted. And travel by Iranian officials should be stopped and their assets frozen. Cutting off Iranian access to refined gas imports will certainly get Tehran’s attention and cause them to reconsider their priorities. If the UN can’t reach agreement on these measures due to continued Russian, Chinese or others’ intransigence, then we need to work directly with our allies and go around the UN roadblock.

“The international community has been negotiating with Iran for more than four years to no avail in seeking to halt the mullahs’ nuclear program. I believe strongly in diplomacy, but it has its limits, especially when the other side is made up of extremists. If we don’t get serious and act now—before they build atomic weapons—the stakes will be even higher, and our hand much weaker. The United States and its allies cannot afford to let that happen. As president, I certainly will not.”

Many years ago, when I was in my early twenties, I was faced with a serious dilemma. I asked an older and much wiser friend what I should do. He answered me with a quotation from Shakespeare.....This above all, to thine own self be true.

If you could live with vaporizing the Mullahs and their followers you have your answer.

FRegards,

Great! Just what is needed. A reason to make the US look like the bad guys.

To whom? Who thinks we aren't the bad guys now?

I would have no objection to taking Ahmanutjob to Ground Zero and burying him alive under a million tons of rubble.

Would a couple ounces of lead suffice? ;o)

So that's a good enough reason to descend to the level of these thugs and murderers?
