Sorry to post and run again, but I'm off to meet with some of the Gold Star parents I went to Iraq with last November who are here in D.C. They were at the White House today and later went to Capitol Hill.

It’s like looking at my kids! I remember when Kristin seemed to stand alone on the street every day ‘way back when to protest that man, Mr. Clinton. I certainly hope that the President and we all remember who shouted for Gore to “get out of Cheney’s house”! I remember when I was privileged to join the DC gang in 2004 for the stand outside the Russian embassy and the Swift Boat Rally.
I’m proud and know that you all will remember today.

And kudos to the Bush Administration. FR fought Bush's immigration proposals. I'm glad to see they see supporting our troops as being above domestic politics ... like things were in a better time.
