I think that was another question that I missed. Unless Hunter changed his vote.

Many of these questioners are asking for the candidates to commit to legislating morality. Legislating morality does not work, and it certainly is not a election winner.

You're absolutely right. This sounds more like the theocracy voters' debate.

Brownback is pro life, and voted for the border fence.

Keyes isn’t running

Huckabee is in line with McCain, so even though he is a Baptist minister, he isn’t really Conservative so I just ignore him.

Tancredo is rock solid on immigration

Hunter is a Conservative

Paul is a true Constitutional Conservative

Don’t know Cox

And compared to RudyMcThomney, these guys are Goldwater incarnate, my goodness a question about the 10 trillion dollar debt?

Former radical muslim asking about student visas. Would you support student visas from countries which sponsor terrorism. Bownback votes against the pack with a green light.

I don’t like this green light red light thing, I wanna hear them talk!

Agree. It is very poor format. The questioners get to present their slanted questions, but the candidates are only given a yes-no option to respond.

Brownback says yes, all others say no.

I hope they will tally these up at the end, so we can go back and check what we missed. I see the votes but forget the question.

This would work pretty well if the questions were tougher.

This is just red meat.

This is disappointing. These questions are a bit too soft.

Soft or hard, they are very revealing of the candidates' inclinations.

I notice that all but Dr. Paul seem in favor of the fedgov getting into more "problems" that could better be resolved at the state or local level. (These are candidates for President, after all, so you have to infer that the questions implicity contain the phrase, "as President, would you want to see the federal government" do whatever the advocate is suggesting.

To most of whom, I would also say, "It's not the prerogative of the United States government."
