Since the U.S. Federal government has become increasingly independent minded, often openly acting directly at odds with the will of the people they are sworn to represent, American voters are becoming increasingly interested in finding out exactly who their government is taking orders from, since it clearly isnt them.

“What most people dont realize, or never take a few minutes to research, is that the CFR has produced several position document on the NAU, from the one that is posted here, to others that recommend completely closed borders and commerce, to several that take the middle road, some with limited trade recommendations, others with examples of how to update NORAD for a common defense improvemet.”
Why not provide us some links to CFR articles or evidence of publications advocating closed borders and limited trade.
Seems that has been pointed out to her a couple of times in the past hour on two threads, and she has disappeared... Ironically, one was the “Freds Blind Support” thread... Blind indeed...
Waiting for proof that Mitt Romney is a dues paying member of the CFR.
“As we have learned Romney is the one with the power connection to the CFR as leadership.”
Proof, please.
LOL, American voters can change pols every 2, 4, and 6 years, who cares about the positions of a think tank?
Americans are not victims of the all powerful pol.
Im guessing you were using my post as an opportunity to make a general point since I described the content I found on the CFR website and did not give an opinion on that content.
Been done, by more than one...
Go to sleep Saundra, it will be better in the morning.
“Fred Thompson is their pick for president and that scares the heck out of me.”
How about we start with the first post of this nature yours.
What evidence do you have that the CFR has chosen Fred for their candidate.
yes
Starting on the left: Former Secretary of Defense Harold Brown, former Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger, former Secretary of State James Baker, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Secretary of Defense James Schlesinger, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Vice President Dick Cheney, President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of State George Shultz, former Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird, former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright , former Secretary of State Alexander Haig, former Secretary of Defense Frank Carlucci, former Secretary of Defense William Perry, and former Secretary of Defense William Cohen.
“I would say that Ron Paul is not CFR.”
I would imagine Mr. Paul wouldn’t be.
Is that more of your personal knowledge of the CFR?
IT IS WRITTEN!
In their post...
One thing for sure, I think most can agree that the govt is listening to the people less and less. The NAFTA and Amnesty plans for the country demonstrate that in a big way.
And its both parties working together against us on these things!
Those who believe all the hogwash about the dark powers and evil goals of the CFR are no better and indeed JUST LIKE THE 9/11 “TRUTHERS”.
You may take that as an insult.
Romney is a CFR member, BTW.
(So was I. And I am a Jewish guy. And on the board of a multi-national bank! Cue scary conspiracy music.)
Back in reality. It’s a think tank.
There are people from all points of view represented, from Tom Tancredo to Jon Carey.
Correct, while the standards a low for admission, they are not that low.
