The D.C. Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is helping to organize the Gathering of Eagles rally this weekend. We are encouraging everyone who can to get to D.C. on Saturday for a big show of support for our troops and their victory in the war on terror.
We'll be kicking things off with the D.C. Chapter's regular Friday night freep at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Meet us at the main gate, Georgia Avenue and Elder Street, NW beginning at 6:30 p.m. We'll be there until around 9:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Sept. 15, we are asking folks to come downtown early and stay all day.
Gather at 9:00 a.m. at 7th Street on the National Mall for the GOE III rally. After the rally, we'll move out and form up our counter-protest lines against the ANSWER commies along the south side of Pennsylvania from 7th Street to 10th Street, NW, as well as at the Navy Memorial on the north side.
Please bring American and service flags with you. If possible, please bring bundles of hand held American flags that we can distribute to participants.

Bumping for the Eagles and the Eaglettes!!!
Me, too!
Saturday Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph...increasing to around 15 mph in the afternoon.
There was a heavy mist, as Jimmy Valentine's brother would say; but spirits could not have been higher (on our side). But very, very low on the PinkO side.
Here's to making sure the leftists' spirits are lowered even further tomorrow.
Eagles WAY UP !!!
God Bless
What a night!
One for the record books!
See you tomorrow.
I hope Deb M. made it up there in time. Thank you all!

GO GET ‘EM!
Maybe He already did. =)
God Bless Marty Ford.
I loved hearing Gen. Patraeus say that he is proud of “today’s greatest generation”. He sure got THAT right!
As one of the Eagles said last night, “it’s not as if we hadn’t been rained on before.” I did bring my umberella but never deployed it. The chants of “USA” were thunderous.
Last night cANSWER estimating 10,000 AZZHATS for Saturday.

I can’t wait to hear all about it. I got stuck at home at the last minute. Can’t decide whether to be mad or cry.
kristinn on in 15 minutes:
That socialist just said something about ‘the resistance’ in Iraq fighting back, and ‘why wouldn’t they’ when their country was attacked and invaded.’ I guess she was in Cuba on September 11, 2001.
Excellent job, dude!
Rallies will be broadcast tomorrow at 10.
