The President attended the APEC Summit in Australia on Saturday returning to the US that evening with a refueling stop in Hawaii where he made a private visit to injured troops.
Today he attended the ceromonial swearing in of Jim Nussle as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget .
He also attended a meeting in the Oval Office along with the Vice President to talk about the Interagency Working Group on Import Safety's initial report and the group's next steps in enhancing the safety of imported products.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island

SUUUUURRRRREEEEEE! it doesn't! ;o)
I wonder who started this tradition of dressing them in “native” costumes? EVERY TIME I see it, I am amazed that they do consent to do it. I mean, they are the leaders of the world being put in odd looking clothing. Why doesn’t someone give them an outfit they can use, like a tuxedo by Armani?
A strange tradition.... strange.
That background gives him a healthy glow, wouldn’t you say?
Thanks Snugs for the Pictures of President Bush, I looked at them all more than once, loved them all.
Healthy...warm...fuzzy...a great glow ;-)
I'm so darn proud and impressed with Gen. Petraeus and Amb. Crocker ... they're are just first class. Completely informed about the intracacies of all areas of the Iraq elements, so well prepared and confident, yet so gracious and calm.
How they withstand the slings, subtle and not so subtle attacks directed at them and their CIC is amazing. Their serenity and focus under this incredible pressure is .. WOW.
Look how they envelope him .... but, he handles it all .. he's used to real bullets.
We are so blessed to have such a sterling military leader as Gen. Petraeus... he's a warrior .. tested in fire.
Bowing their heads, in remembrance of the victims of September 11, 2001
Glad to see Laura is feeling well enough to be up and about today.
What an impressive history and bio Amb. Crocker has. He’s certainly in the right position:
