I slowly went from one end of The Wall to the other, videotaping all the way. I wanted those who have loved ones named on The Wall to know whether "their" panels were damaged. I also wanted the full extent of the damage to be documented.

This is Part 1, showing the damage to the east side of The Wall. It will take me several more hours to get the second video up.

I reviewed the Part I and it makes me SOOOOO MAD to see this
again. I thought the still photos were bad...but this shows how extensive the damage is.

I worry that this is the beginning of a long week and weekend!

OK - so there are no surveillance cameras on the Mall? One of the prime target areas for any kind of terrorist action? Ground zero for protests by whackos of all kinds?

There has got to be surveillance footage of whoever perpetrated this. They simply need to release it on the web. Some real American will surely recognize the scum that did this, and nature will take its course.

The pressure washing was not completely successful; the oil had soaked into the stone.

The Park Service employees are MORONS! Oil is organic. Water and steam is probably not enough. You will have to use solvents... Geez! Do these Park Service employees have any geological or chemical training at all?

Based on where the oil trail starts, I have a theory that the perp waited until the wall was high enough to conceal his actions from the street.

I know that’s not a brilliant observation, but maybe it will help someone think of or refine a theory about how this was done.

Likewise about having people on the WALL. My brother, a retired USMC colonel, refuses to go to counter events like GoE I & III because he knows that he’ll pound some heads. I know how he feels but we have to be present.

I had a meeting with my prish priest this evening. I told him I would be chatting with him on Saturday. I mentioned about how the wall was descreated. He told me he didnt blame me for my feelings. I suspect it will still cost me a few Hail Mary’s but at least he understands.
