Played HS ball at Commerce.

That may well be, but only he knows for sure.
You need to get over here and defend your honor.
Someone misquoted you (and badly)
To me, he comes across as too oily, too smooth, too pre-packaged, not really genuine. Somehow he just doesn't seem to inspire trust - I'm not really sure that what he is saying is what he believes or if he is just saying things he thinks I want to hear.
Jones grows on you ... at least he has on me.
Wade Wilson is a former (long ago)Cowboy (second-string) quarterback... a sterling lad, by all accounts, a generally good guy.
He was recently found to be using a substance that’s not approved. he bought it to combat his debilitating diabetes. He saw a special on 60 minutes about the drug (beware of 60 minutes).
Now they have fined him $100,000 and suspended him for 5 games. Most people think this is way too harsh...as a coach he doesn’t make that much. This is like being fined over one-third of your salary.
He may not make much as a coach...but he’s still got his retirement check he recieves from the NFL which is grater than what he pulls down as a coach.
I guess I should know that about his wife, but I don’t. What is the disease? Parkinson’s?
Sometimes life has a way of knocking you in the head.
My nephew had one of those perfect seeming lives...a doctor with a nice income, beautiful house, two great sons and a sweet, pretty wife.
But she came down with a hereditary, fatal, incurable disease. And... it’s not fatal for 30 or 40 years.
He’s not dealing well.
Translation: After General Petraeus gets done, we'll put our liberal spin on his report, lie about it, lie about Iraq, praise Democratic positions, and, of course, continue to pursue our main mission, which is to bash Bush in any way possible.
Mrs. Romney has multiple sclerosis, a progressive, incurable disease. She has already stated that she will not be able to perform all of her duties as first lady but that her daughters in law will help with that.

I think it ‘s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) - even Neal Cavuto suffers from this.
Thanks for the info. Since I have satellite, I no longer get any of the DFW stations or their news.
And once again the Democrats open the PR door right into their own faces.
Democrats might want to pay attention to this.
Iraqi parliament gears up to pass key draft laws

I find the news itself fair left slanted and certainly anti Republican but often the more magazine news item can have some fair reporting maybe some of these are done by more local reporters where the news or general interest item is of more importance than the political slant. The difference that you see in Britain between local and national newspapers.
That’s too bad.
Did he say that was the ONLY tax that shoujld exist, or a new one for his favorite charity?
I was hoping to see Fred Thompson on the Sunday talk shows.
~scratching head~
Gritty, that is a long but interesting post Maica put up.
I read part of it.
Here’s an interesting quote:
“But the people that need to hear are the moderate Democrats who are holding up the whole thing. Theyre the ones who have to know that their people care, that they bring our troops home. They swear they dont. They swear that theyll lose their elections if they do the right thing.”
This was said by one of the peaceniks on the conference call after the person stated that he thought Nancy (Pelosi) was for them, but ....
