I just heard their comments in my time zone; and I agree with your assessment. DiFi is always ready to move to the center whenever things look iffy for the Lefties. The public is obviously eager to to embrace signs of success in the WOT; and it just may be that some of the less radical elements of the Rat swarm are sensing the possibility of a horrendous political backlash as a result of their obstructionist tactics. We can only hope.

Like the house in Vegas, DiFi has the table covered. Her husband, Richard Blum, is the major investor in URS Corp. and Perini Corp., both in the top five American defense contractors in Iraq. She approved these contracts while sitting as Chairperson of Military appropriations Construction subcommittee without recusing herself or even disclosing her conflicts.
