Like the house in Vegas, DiFi has the table covered. Her husband, Richard Blum, is the major investor in URS Corp. and Perini Corp., both in the top five American defense contractors in Iraq. She approved these contracts while sitting as Chairperson of Military appropriations Construction subcommittee without recusing herself or even disclosing her conflicts. Absolutely...She is one of the most important precursors of the public's shifts in attitudes. And she is not comfortable, as evidenced on FNS today, with the Reid and Durbin etc. line on Iraq.

Her and Blum's great wealth has been built on the most subtle and shrewd manipulation of politics and international opportunities. Dr. Savage, to mention one source, has unquestionably thrown some light onto aspects of the Dianne/Dick combine. Even that congenital idiot, Mother Sheehan, can see through DiFi.
