Kathleen Willey: Clintons stole my manuscript
WorldNetDaily ^ | 9-5-07 | WorldNetDaily

Kathleen Willey, the woman who says Bill Clinton groped her in the Oval Office, claims she was the target of an unusual house burglary over the weekend that nabbed a manuscript for her upcoming book, which promises explosive revelations that could damage Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Willey told WND little else was taken from her rural Virginia home as she slept alone upstairs – electronics and jewelry were left behind – and she believes the Clintons were behind it.

The break-in, she said, reminded her of the widely reported incident 10 years ago in which she claimed she was threatened near the same Richmond-area home by a stranger just two days before she was to testify against President Clinton in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case.

The theft of the manuscript early Saturday morning was suspicious, she told WND, coming only days after the first mainstream media mention of her upcoming book, which is expected to include accusations of campaign finance violations and new revelations about harassment and threats by the Clintons and their associates.

"Here we go again; it's the same thing that happened before," Willey told WND. "They want you to know they were there. And they got what they wanted. They pretty much managed to terrorize me again. It scared me to death. It's an awful feeling to know you're sound asleep upstairs and someone is downstairs."

The book, "Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton" by World Ahead Publishing, WND Books' partner, is due for release in November. Willey said the stolen manuscript was not the book's final copy.

Well if they were trying to suppress the manuscript they wouold have taken the computer too. Since they only took the printed copy, it appears they were trying to find out just what it says. Forewarned is forearmed.

With all this stuff about the Clinton’s and so many people support them? It’s amazing. These storys need to get out to everyone. It’ll be interesting to see if this new book gets banned. You would think that if what this woman is saying, and if it’s false, the Clinton’s would have her in court. Since they haven’t done a thing, legally, they must not want the info to come out.

This was a reporter...not a Clinton-ite. Probably will attempt to sell it to Hillary, but I doubt Hillary would pay $10 for the book....why relive the episode again?

She needs a nice safe that’s bolted to the floor.

Then the Clintons would steal the house through eminent domain.

wait. all this stuff is coming out far too soon - wait til AFTER she wins the primary - THEN pounce!

teh biggest problem we had with them before was bad timing - we put the stuff out there at bad times. wait until she becomes the nomines, THEN scuttle her.

Doesn’t anybody keep copies of these things just in case the Clinton thugs come knocking? How many times does this have to happen before people learn??

Yes, but that takes longer, and she would be able to move the manuscript in the meantime.

There are other options, too, such as online storage sites, etc.

For something like this I would have at least 3 backups, all stored in various locations and media types.

(1) Does she really have only one copy of her book - in manuscript, no less? That would be utterly ridiculous.

(2) The details of the crime are too unprofessional to be the work of a professional, and they do not look like the work of a common thief either.

A professional would have taken nothing but the manuscript and wiped her hard drive clean or replaced it.

A professional trying to look like a common thief would have swiped the laptop, jewelry, DVD player and other easily portable items of value - not left them there.

A common thief would have taken the laptop and other easily portable items of value.

I hate to say what this looks like.

When I terrorize snitches I usually steal their lap tops.

Seriously, I wouldn't put anything past the country's favorite crime family.

OK, boys and girls, what's wrong with this picture, if one assumes that the intruder's goal was to suppress the manuscript?

What if the purpose was not to suppress the book but to find out its contents, instead. If the Clintons know ahead of time what will be revealed they can execute a preemptive denial campaign or be ready with plausible deniability when the book does come out.

Ugh. I can’t believe we’re going through this again with the Clintons and his lust interests. Didn’t the country get enough of this ten years ago?

Undoubtedly, another Bruce Lindsay led event.

We need a 24/7 watch on that guy.

This appears to be the work of Sandy Burgler. He only steals papers.

It makes sense to me. I work in retail and often have to investigate stolen purses. The first place to look is in the bathroom trash cans. I often find everything but the cash.

To: (use semi-colons to separate multiple recipients) varon Your Reply: (HTML auto-detected, see help for more information) It still makes absolutely no sense not to take the laptop (for one thing, an electronic copy can be more easily distributed to Clinton's legion of little trained minions for research purposes).

Exactly right....its the bimbo brigade alert plan still in effect. Know precisely the accusations that are coming and where and how they will service. Discredit them and the accuser before the are ever brought to the table. Get the media then to ignore the material [call it old news and ground already covered (by the Clintons that is)] when it does surface.
