I was just told by a Liberal fellow worker that just about every Republican member of the Senate or Congress is either under investigation or indictment. As for Democrats, well, squeaky clean of course. I asked for his source, and it's Newsweek (Liberal rag).
Does anyone have the info on who is under investigation or indictment - Democrat and Republican?
Any help would be great. Thanks all!
Mods, sorry I didn’t post to chat/general.......

What do you expect? It’s a Dem congress running all the investigations.
Newsweek? Bwhahahahha. Newsweek is just "People" magazine for ugly people.
I hear you...I know...but I’d like the numbers and facts and such, you know?
Sitting senator to clarify.
LoL! Your coworker has drank too much cool-aid.
If one lacks the intelligence to observe data the first time, there is nothing in place to ensure they WILL observe the same data the second time.
We have each been able to STAMP OUT any objection that “Bush lied about WMD”. We have each been armed with not one, two or 3 media citations proving otherwise, but literally THOUSANDS of citations that defend our position.
We have each been systematically been ignored.

That may help. Maybe not. I’m not sure what point your friend was trying to make, if any.
That’s what losing Congress is all about. Two words for your friend, Ken Starr.

Jefferson, New Orleans, House Democrat. Under investigation and probably indictment. Visited his home during Katrina to extract thousands in cash from his fridge.
Your liberal friend is too far gone to be worth arguement with. He has BDS.
Ask him to prove his assertion. He made it. Not you. Watch him dismiss the challenge. Actually providing proof is anathema to BDS sufferers. It’s a symptom. Tell him he has BDS and what the symptoms are. There should be a 12 step program for it, but first he has to admit he . . .
Save yourself the grief. Only help him further if you get paid to cure his problem. Enjoy life instead.
You don’t need a list... you need to rearrange his bridgework.
For some reason, they keep sending me that piece of trash every week. I never subscribed to it either. Oddly, it started showing up after I decided not to renew Sports Illustrated, which I only ordered for the free gifts. I still keep getting SI too. The label still shows Jul07 as the expiration. All I can guess is they’re so desperate they’re willing to send it out for free.
If you accept any advice from Designer, you would get to studying right away. Study the history of our country from a conservative point of view. (there are sources) Read a variety of materials, and don't stop.
You can forget trying to argue with liberals, as it won't matter what you say anyway. Try to break out of the mould of casting everything in terms of democrat or republican, as there is a lot more to it than the two largest parties.
Designer has been studying for about 15 years, so don't expect to obtain a thumbnail sketch that will give you enlightenment in one afternoon.
Good luck.

Great post thanks. You’re right, I just like to defend Conservatism when I can. He’s a self-proclaimed Socialist....
He turned the wheels on you. He is supposed to present the names to you, not the other way around. Make him prove it by providing the names and the reason for the investigation. If he cannot, call him on his BS!
