Bosnia: New video shows ‘mujahadeen atrocities ‘
Bijeljina/Beograd, 18 Sept. (AKI) - A Bosnian TV station has broadcast part of an alleged new video apparently showing gruesome crimes perpetrated againt Bosnian Serbs by a unit of Muslim fighters during Bosnia’s 1992-1995 civil war.
The footage, broadcast by BN TV apparently shows the ‘El Mujahadid’ unit “sharpening axes” which they later allegedly used to behead a Bosnian Serb soldier.
The video also reportedly shows footage of the mujahadeen in playing football using a decapitated head instead of a ball, Serbian news agency Tanjug reported.
It contains chilling scenes showing mutilated corpses mujahadeen tying up and abuse prisoners of war. A mujahadeen is heard saying: “They call us terrorists. We are terrorists and we will destroy all the enemies of Allah.”
The El Mujahid was a unit consisting of fighters from Muslim countries, who, as they say on the tape, came to Bosnia to “fight for Allah.”
The unit was formed in 1993 and in that year became part of the Bosnian Muslim Army under the command of the War Council headed by Bosnia’s then-president Alija Izetbegovic, the video recounts.
The footage also shows Izetbegovic arriving at the mujahadeen camp and shows life inside it as the fighters training for war and worship. Women in strict Islamic dress are seen living in the camp, as well as children dressed in military wear, while one small girl is shown holding a pistol.
This tape was found by the Bosnian Serb entity’s Council of Concentration Camp Victims. Its president, Branislav Dukic, says that the footage was supplied by Bosnian Muslims.
Dukic said that even among Bosnia’s Muslims there are “those who wish to prove the presence of mujahadeen in Bosnia, and the war crimes they committed on the territory of central Bosnia.”

Two Bangladeshi men working aboard a Panamanian cargo ship bound for Virginia apparently jumped into the New York Harbor yesterday morning, sparking a multiagency search and rescue mission for one of the men, police officials said.
The pair, Mohammad Nayem Uddin and Mohammad Bakhtier Uddin, were reported missing from the Manhattan Bridge, a 797-foot cargo ship, at about 6 a. m., after they failed to report for roll call as the ship steamed out of the Port of Newark, authorities said.
About an hour later, a recreational fisherman spotted Mohammad Nayem Uddin waving from Hoffman Island, a 10-acre bird sanctuary southwest of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, and called the police.
Mr. Uddin was taken to Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn and treated for hypothermia before being questioned by police. Mr. Uddin allegedly was uncooperative when questioned by police about his relationship to Mohammad Bakhtier Uddin, whom investigators believe is his brother, police sources said. (excerpt)

Pipe Bomb Explodes Inside San Jose Home
SAN JOSE, Calif., Sep. 18, 2007 (KGO) - According to the San Jose Police, there was an explosion inside a home on Everwood Court at Ocala Avenue in South San Jose.
One male teenager is now in custody. Police say they believe the bomb went off accidentally, and it does not appear the boy was injured in the blast.
There are more explosive devices in the residence, and the San Jose bomb squad is on site to render the explosives harmless. There’s no visible damage to the home.
As a precaution, other homes in the area have been evacuated.
We will have more details as they become available on ABC7 News at 6.

“One male teenager is now in custody.”
Good news.
I wonder if he was a gang banger.
Correction to #1648.
Fort Wright is in Northern Kentucky - not Ohio.
Could be.
I just wonder where the parents are?
I would notice if there were pipe-bombs in my house.

Only in America would a parent stand in a line outside a school separated by only a chain linked fence with their child in view sitting on bleachers threatened by a bomb for over four hours! Newbury Park High School “officials” not only endangered students by holding them at the site of a threat, but called 2500 parents to the scene as well! Terrorists are laughing today!

Jordan jihadis vow fight to the end (aka BBC meets with jihadis)
(snippet)
It was not easy to get into contact with Jordan’s jihadis. Crackdowns by the secret police here make getting to Iraq extremely difficult.
Veteran jihadi’s story
So, they only agreed to meet us at night. We were told at the very last minute who we were seeing, without being given anyone’s real names, of course, and where.
Jihad will never end. We will keep going until Judgement Day.
Abu Abdel Rahman, jihadi
Abu Abdel Rahman is a veteran jihadi. He told us he had been to Iraq from Jordan five times.
“When I am in Iraq I feel calm, happy and comfortable. There is a lot of blood, killing and carnage but I know I am there in God’s name,” he says.
“You infidel countries. You came to fight us, in Muslim lands. What do you expect: that we greet you with roses? Muslims don’t kill for the sake of killing. America and its allies have dug their own graves in Iraq,” he says.
Back home from Iraq, Abu Abdel Rahman now actively recruits other Jordanians to fight. He says it is not difficult to persuade them.
