DOUBLE FIREWORKS, SUCCESSFUL COMMUNIST AT WALTER REED #123 (REINFORCEMENTS NEEDED)
DC Chapter ^ | Aug 24, 2007 | BillF with photos by trooprally (Mrs.)

Posted on 08/30/2007 8:47:47 PM PDT by BillF

Edited on 08/31/2007 2:38:08 AM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

On Aug 24, FReepers from DC Chapter and beyond, together with friends,  held our weekly Friday night support the troops gathering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WR) in Washington, DC.

(Here is a web page with the background of the event, which is also a FReep of the cruel Code Pinko hate group and their fellow travelers assembled down the block to continue their vicious taunting of wounded troops. It also describes the intense hatred that the venomous Pinkos have for our troops, except those troops who join Pinko efforts. Some photos from past FReeps will be added to the web page.)

This was another hot and humid summer night with temperatures of about 90 degrees at starting time. We hope for cooler weather now, but, before you know it, we will be cold and snowy.

Before that happens, before the snow returns this year, join us in Washington for the FReep of your life. In a couple weeks, the heat will be gone and DC will be perfect for visitors. Support our troops and stand-up against the evil Pinkos' vicious anti-troop psych-op. Join the WR FReep on, for example, Friday, Sept 14, and continue with us on Saturday, Sept 15 with Gathering of Eagles  (GOE) activities described in this: Leftists Announce Sept. Actions in D.C. (Help the D.C. Chapter and GOE Defend America!) and other threads among these.

In between FR and GOE activities you can see all that DC has to offer. Smithsonian's vast array of Museums (Air and Space Museum is most popular and now has an extensive and amazing annex in nearby Virginia close to Dulles Airport), the Iwo Jima Memorial, Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln Monuments,  the Vietnam and WWII Memorials, Arlington National Cemetery, and the International Spy Museum are among the more popular places to visit.

See the photos below. Won't you enjoy visiting DC and supporting the troops as you join us? You'll be glad that did. You can do good and have a good time. Your family members can also enjoy the numerous attractions of DC.

Even after 122 of these WR FReeps, something unexpected happens almost every week. On Aug. 24, there were two unexpected happenings, two distinct types of fireworks. As explained below, one of the fireworks' types involved the Pinkos, the other did not.

Our honor roll of those present:

Bill * from MD, Cindy-true-supporter, Elliot* & Danelle*, Fraxinus, kristinn, Mike Sparling *(Father of WR Patient Joshua Sparling), Olney-Keith, PleaDeal, PrezUSA222, Sensei Ern, Tolerance sucks rocks, trooprally (Mr. & Mrs.), VictoryNY,  and BillF.           * = lurker

As opposed to our 17 patriots, the Pinkos managed to assemble only, at most, 11 America-hating traitors and their well-meaning, but misguided, dupes at their location down the street.

Many of our regulars were away attending Halliburton summer refresher courses about enemy surveillance, shipping leftists to GITMO, and subliminal reprogramming of liberals U.S.  is great.

trooprally (Mrs.) and I took the photos, other than file photos above. Mine have DSCN followed by numbers in their names, whereas Mrs. T's photos have DSC0 followed by numbers in the names. Photos with borders are hyperlinked. Click on them and a larger version should appear in another window. All of Mrs. T's fine photos can be found here.

The four corners outside the WR gate are our four corners of FReep:

Northwest: Olney-Keith

Northeast: kristinn, Tolerance sucks rocks, and Fraxinus

Southwest: trooprally (Mr & Mrs)

Southeast: Lurker Bill's favorite corner

SUCCESSFUL COMMUNIST?

The fireworks involving Code Pink concerned their chief eunuch, Bruce Wolf, who apparently was long ago designated to run the anti-troop psych-op at WR. (Local union thug Wolf & wife arrive first with the large collection of Pinko signs, but the evil Chief DC Pinko Gael Murphy and other local Code Pink women rarely make guest appearances.)

Wolf was first known to FReepers as the Blue-shirt pony-tail guy because that described him at WR week after week. I think that every time he was at WR, he wore a blue denim shirt matching his blue denim jeans. This was the proletariat uniform of Comrade Bruce Wolf, also fondly remembered for bringing a "WORKERS AND SOLDIERS UNITED" sign a couple years back. Could he be any more of a Communist?

At any rate, we were stunned to see that Comrade Wolf actually was wearing a red shirt, per photo at right.

I later tried to review recordings from our satellite listening beams directed on the Wolf residence to determine what had provoked this dramatic shirt change, but the circuit was blown out earlier upon Wolf shouting obscenities after seeing reports of military improvements from the surge. Nothing riles a traitor like the prospect of a U.S. military success.

Aug 24: Comrade Bruce Wolfe with his
fancy new shirt and his long-embarrassed wife

Pinkos at near full strength at least one hour after their start

Using computer modeling, we were able to understand the meaning of the red shirt with a 95% confidence level. The meaning is best explained from the following surmised conversation upon Mrs. Wolf giving Comrade Wolf the red shirt:

COMRADE BRUCE: I'm sorry Candace. The shirt's too fancy. I can't wear it.

CANDACE WOLF: Just because you're a communist, does that mean you can't wear anything nice? You look like Trotsky. The new shirt's gorgeous. Fine, you want to be a Communist, be a Communist. Can't you at least look like a successful Communist?

COMRADE BRUCE: All right, I'll try it on.       inspired by Seinfeld

Now, Comrade Bruce Wolf's shirt is Commie red and maybe that is what is touted in the latest Commie Dress for Success books.  However, his wife will be sad to realize that the shirt won't make him a leader when comrades gather to discuss the good old days of the 60s as they cry in the beer filling their antique bongs.

When the above photo of red-shirted Wolf was taken, it was at least 30 to 40 minutes after the Pinko start time. Wolf and Mrs. Wolf were the only ones out with signs.   Kevin McCarron (not in the photo), famous for previously carrying the notorious MAIMED FOR A LIE sign to taunt wounded troops, was seating on a bench nearby, apparently reading or using a laptop.

A later photo, shown above, and taken more than an hour into the Pinkos' blood dance, reveals 7 leftists. Later still, it appeared, from far away, that maybe 2 to 4 additional Pinkos joined the group for a total of 9 to 11 at peak strength that might have lasted at most 40 minutes.

The tension builds.  Join us this Friday to find whether the red shirt lasts a second week or Wolf goes blue again. Check the next GQ to determine if the red-shirted comrade is on the cover.

Near the end of the FReep came the second type of fireworks. These were real fireworks, see photo at right, were set by area residents near our FReep and had no known relation to the Pinko red shirt fireworks. Unless the residents set off the fireworks to celebrate the new sartorial splendor that Wolf was demonstrating. Nah, that couldn't be.

Bus with wounded heroes returns to cheers of FReepers, out of view,
arrayed on the four corners as bus turns into WR gate.

As happens most Fridays, a highlight of the evening is at the end when the bus with wounded troops returns from a restaurant visit. We cheered as the bus driver turned on the interior lights. The troops wave and give us "thumbs up" signals.

Again, please join us sometime if you can.

We need reinforcements as many of us have been going at this for over two years.

If you can't get to D.C. to join us, but would like to do something for the wounded,  FReepmail Albion Wilde, Cindy-True-Supporter, or VAFlagwaver for some ideas.

Our troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere are out on a limb for us basically all year long. Don't let the Pinkos and their allies saw the branch off. Come join us every Friday night per below details between the hours of 6:30pm to approx 9:30pm and also join us the week of Sept. 9, at least on Sept 15 per the threads discussed and linked above.

The troops do the hard stuff, facing bullets and bombs, surely you can come out to back them up.

As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect.

Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

A WR amputee told me two years ago that he doesn't want other wounded troops coming into Walter Reed and seeing only the Code Pinkos because that could really hurt the morale of some wounded troops. He explained that the FReeper presence there was extremely important to counter the Pinkos.

Please join us. Support the troops and be a part of our peaceful counter-protest to Code Pink.

Don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with yachts, polo, golf and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.

Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.

Fridays, 6:30 to 9:30 pm                     Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW, Washington, DC

On street parking is usually easy to find and there is a parking lot at the corner of Georgia and Elder. Location is about 6 or 7 blocks from Takoma metro station and is walkable, but it is best if you get a ride. If you want a ride, FReepmail tgslTakoma and me, preferably with your cell phone number as far in advance as possible. If you wait until Friday afternoon, it may be too late to coordinate a Metro ride.

I’m gonna ask the two I’m coming down with if they would like to FReep Walter Reed. I know I want to do it, if only once.

Nice AAR and pics. Thanks.

Even with so many FReepers gone, we still had over 20 there. Yoo Hoo!!!

To our surprise, the bus came an hour early this night. [Mrs] T barely got her pics before the bus went into WR.

Bruce: Honey where is my denim Solidarity with the Workers shirt?
Wife: In the dirty clothes
Bruce: But you have to wash it! It leads people to believe I have a job
Wife: No way.
Bruce: I demand you wash it
Wife: The workers control the means of production
Bruce: What does that mean?

A WR amputee told me two years ago that he doesn't want other wounded troops coming into Walter Reed and seeing only the Code Pinkos because that could really hurt the morale of some wounded troops

Over the course of this effort, I had two wounded NCOs tell me that when they arrived on a stretcher in the bus from Andrews AFB that they saw the PINKOS. Both had exactly the same comment about what they thought when that happened.

At the MilBlog conference, I spoke with an Army Major who had the same experience and comment.

All three offered their account without prompting of any sort from me and all three used EXACTLY the same wording about what they thought seeing the PINKOS, "I don't need this shit."

Numerous war-wounded troops have told me and other FReepers the same thing, that what we are doing is so important in countering the Pinkos and that they hate that the Pinkos are at WR.
