I read the transcript of the Larry Graig interview with the Minnesota police.
I don't like what I'm hearing from other conservatives. The liberals see a cheap Senate seat and you want to give it to them because a guy moved two fingers under the stall wall in an airport bathroom.
If they had the guy on tape asking for sex, paying for sex, or photographed in the act, or any other physical proof, then I would say that looks very very bad and he should go.
But that is not the case.
This is very lame, and those of you who have never had a disagreement with a law enforecement officer should hope that a cop never accuses you of something. Because by your own action, your professional career, and or political career, should be forit, merely on the word of the officer with no physical proof or corroborating evidence.
Those of you who pass judgement, on Larry Craig, merely on the heresay and liberal spin that has been run in the press, should be ashamed.
Aside from that, unless he is a cop who is familiar with this problem in restrooms, or a homosexual, he should have had a much more defensive attitude, as someone who had no idea of what they were talking about. Had that been me, I would have been saying things like, “you have got to be kidding me, there is actually a code??? One that gays know nationwide?? This has to be candid camera or something!” IN other words, until this came out, I had no idea of any code or signals, who would? But he said NOTHING like that. He only argued where his feet were and where his hand was or wasn’t. Most of us would have had no idea even why they were asking.
Craig may or may not be queer, but I think, after hearing the tape, that the cop isn’t telling the truth about what happened.
He will be primaried out then. Plenty of Republicans want this seat and fumigate Craig’s presence.
my wife said Craig was not even in the right terminal....that this terminal and this bathroom in particular was known as a cakeboy hang-out.

It's the same crowd at work here who called for Hastert's head because Foley was gay.
Who did that usher in? A Speaker from San Francisco, gay capital of the world.

And the same thing is at work here. Notice the MSM headlines lately? Anything about one of the top 20 Dem donors being a felon and giving to Hitlery?
Nothing. But Craig is there not because he was caught in a sex act, but because he tapped someone's foot.

Also, gidget, when the officer displayed his police badge under the stall wall, why did Craig react with “No!”
If he was innocent in his behavior, he would say oh this is interesting, give me a minute I’ll be right out.
But he had to be cajoled into meeting the officer outside the bathroom. No indignation, just denial. He KNEW what the arrest was about. He KNEW.
Pacificus, we are rapidly reaching the point where no one will be pure enough, or conservative enough, or [insert characterization of your choice] enough to be a member of the Republican Party.
Wrong again. It's not the interview. It's when the officer was trying to bring him in. Craig refused several times.
There’s a reason that not a single senator has stood up for him. They know a lot more about him than any of us do.
I don’t think he should be forced out, but he should see the writing on the wall when no one comes to his defense.
Craig actually accuses the officer of entrapment in the interview, which is pure bullshit. Craig did this to himself. I even diligently attempted to find flaws/inconsistencies in this undercover officer’s account a day or two back, but I had to stand corrected, after I did more reading and listening. He needs to resign, IMO.
Unfortunately for Craig he pled guilty. End of discussion. Also, there will not be a Dem Senator from Idaho. Not gonna happen.
Whuh? The primary is in May, just 8 months away and 6 months prior to the November election.

Something just isn’t right with the whole story...I believe Craig, not the cop.
