I read the transcript of the Larry Graig interview with the Minnesota police.
I don't like what I'm hearing from other conservatives. The liberals see a cheap Senate seat and you want to give it to them because a guy moved two fingers under the stall wall in an airport bathroom.
If they had the guy on tape asking for sex, paying for sex, or photographed in the act, or any other physical proof, then I would say that looks very very bad and he should go.
But that is not the case.
This is very lame, and those of you who have never had a disagreement with a law enforecement officer should hope that a cop never accuses you of something. Because by your own action, your professional career, and or political career, should be forit, merely on the word of the officer with no physical proof or corroborating evidence.
Those of you who pass judgement, on Larry Craig, merely on the heresay and liberal spin that has been run in the press, should be ashamed.
Who wouldn’t he want to hide this ?
Innocent or not , they’ve been accusing him of being gay for years and he knew that just the mere accusation alone would be damning , as evidenced by McPain and the other RINO sellouts who are tripping over themselves to be “moral purists” ...
You men out there...ever been accused of improper touching or something of that sort? Whether it is true or not, you are forever under a cloud of suspicion. I would imagine it would be very difficult to prove you were not Gay.
I still feel that Larry Craig would not be stupid enough to think he could get away with something so careless. Not in this day and time. It seemed to me the police officer was giddy with that little speech. I just can't buy it.
I was trying to explain to a police officer one night why she should remove my husband from our apartment. He was very good at convincing someone he was sober. The officer accused me of lying about the (3) 1/2 gallon empty vodka bottles. After I proved my statement, they suddenly changed their tone with me. I left him there and went elsewhere. It is called the "Wyatt Earp Syndrome." Power given to an officer...but no authority to use it.
To listen to the MSM, you would think he was caught doing the nasty with the officer. Use your heads...watch and listen. Let's see how many creeps come out of the woodwork and want their 15 minutes of fame. For now, I am leaving my mind open.
What if Senator Craig is just another victim of the MSM? How unfair to him and our party. Just one more reason for the conservatives to stay home? If so, you are playing right into their hands.
The one good thing about these log cabin trolls is they prove to the world that FR - and conservatism - does not want perverts in the party, regardless of what the RNC is willing to overlook.
Traffic violations are not crimes, they are violations. Craig admitted to a crime. In any case, guilty or innocent, he is in the way, and must be disposed of.
No offense, but that was a really stupid comment.
OK. Can I pass judgement on the pervert 'cuz he pleaded guilty?
I agree, but that'd take term limits and voters with brains. Neither likely in the near future.
Good post and you are correct.
our elected leaders are just a bunch of weirdos and pervs.
I concur. After listening to this guys responses, one could only shake their head. How this guy got to be a Senator is a mystery.
Even if his unbelievable claim is true that he 'was picking up a piece of toilet paper', he should resign for having horrible hygiene.
Again, why is it that you think this is a just a resisting arrest charge when its not a charge listed by the court?
Perhaps you’re the one susceptible to lies or at least getting your ideas out of thin air.
Obvious pervert ? That is coming from anti-Craig Leftist media sources .
I don’t think the supposed sting was a conspiracy , but clearly the police had no case .
Now the timed release of this story is very suspect given what this story is accomplishing in the way of covering up Hitlary’s money scandal .
You don't get it. He destroyed himself.
Can you point me to where Sen. Craig says he was innocent of disorderly conduct?
So justice doesn't matter to you.
OK...got your point.
Not at all .
Well, for starters it's not the first time that he's been accused of cruising public men's rooms for gay sex. And secondly, when the cop arrested him he claimed "you seduced me'. Normal men using a men's room for it's intended purpose wouldn't think that someone in the next stall was seducing them no matter what was going on. You can only be seduced to do what you really want to do. I would never say to another man...'you seduced me'.
No, he pleaded guilty. He's claiming he's innocent now after he already pleaded guilty and admitted the crime.
