I read the transcript of the Larry Graig interview with the Minnesota police.
I don't like what I'm hearing from other conservatives. The liberals see a cheap Senate seat and you want to give it to them because a guy moved two fingers under the stall wall in an airport bathroom.
If they had the guy on tape asking for sex, paying for sex, or photographed in the act, or any other physical proof, then I would say that looks very very bad and he should go.
But that is not the case.
This is very lame, and those of you who have never had a disagreement with a law enforecement officer should hope that a cop never accuses you of something. Because by your own action, your professional career, and or political career, should be forit, merely on the word of the officer with no physical proof or corroborating evidence.
Those of you who pass judgement, on Larry Craig, merely on the heresay and liberal spin that has been run in the press, should be ashamed.
Here's a hint. Don't look into a stall for more than a quick glance to see if it is occupied. Don't put your feet under the stall wall and touch the occupants feet. And don't stick your hand under the stall wall. Doesn't seem to me that any of those behaviors are that difficult to handle.
The cop is clearly out to get him because of who he is.
Is this cop always out trolling for queers?
Would the cop say so if this was a setup?
Btw, the interesting part here is that some cop may get his ass stomped one day/night reaching under a stall...
Their 'space' ends with the plane of the divider, where mine, however temporary, begins. When I am taking a dump, I am a highly territorial S.O.B.
No mercy. He plead guilty. He’s toast. We will force him to quit. Disgusting.
Then you have heard Mark twice today lol
The “No” was on tape
I can't imagine - it'd be horrible. If Craig weren't so dumb he might be a suicide risk.
609.72 DISORDERLY CONDUCT.
Subdivision 1. Crime. Whoever does any of the following in a public or private place, including on a school bus, knowing, or having reasonable grounds to know that it will, or will tend to, alarm, anger or disturb others or provoke an assault or breach of the peace, is guilty of disorderly conduct, which is a misdemeanor:
(1) Engages in brawling or fighting; or
(2) Disturbs an assembly or meeting, not unlawful in its character; or
(3) Engages in offensive, obscene, abusive, boisterous, or noisy conduct or in offensive, obscene, or abusive language tending reasonably to arouse alarm, anger, or resentment in others. A person does not violate this section if the person's disorderly conduct was caused by an epileptic seizure.
Perhaps the good Senator was simply experiencing a bout of epilepsy with the foot-tapping and stall-stroking.
Were I Senator Craig right now, I'd be studying the video of Jim McGreevey's "I am a gay American" speech.
When one has homo-erotic feelings, one can not stop themselves. Hormones are more powerful than anything.
I believe the cop. Craig must quit. He's finished. toast.
Um, it wasn’t.
13 minutes? That is nonsense. IT was 2.
the cop set up sting operations like this to address quality of life operations all the time.
the cop is sitting there and waits until someone in the next stall gives an opening signal. then they each go back and forth giving the next step of signal. a cop would never just initiate such conduct without knowing that the guy next to him would most likely take the bait.
I disagree; I think the cop was doing his job, and a crappy detail it must be, and nabbed a big fish.
Senators think they are above the law. IMO he is a guilty as they get. As for all the good people out there who are defending him, I can understand why they don't want to believe it is true.
The Senator agreed he tapped a foot.
He did not agree he stroked a stall.
In fact, he denied it emphatically.
Oh, alright, I was just re-stating your point. Sorry, I have to read so fast, you know...
We know that he KNEW...:)
Maybe the cop had no idea who Craig was...remember it was Craig that said 'Do you know who I am?' and also gave the cop his Senate business card.
It was the crime of suicide. He killed his political career, and damaged anyone who comes near him. He is politically radioactive. As to his actual guilt or innocense, I don't know, and I don't care. We are a political forum and he is no longer an active political figure.
Well, there is that report...and then there is his GUILTY PLEA!
Or did that conviction of guilt at his own admission not make an impression on you at all.
Read the damn pleading. He did not plead guilty to ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY, EVEN TINILY CLOSE OR EVEN RELATED TO ANYTHING SEXUAL IN NATURE.
The way he has handled this, he should go. It was done terribly. But, he did not plead guilty to lewdness, and that is not what he was charged with, regardless of how many CNN stories claim otherwise.
