MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A foot-tapping ritual was a common thread in many of the 41 arrests reported during a four-month airport bathroom sting that snared Sen. Larry Craig. An undercover officer would take a seat in a stall. Soon another man would sit in the stall next door and start tapping his foot, perhaps moving it closer to the officer's. The officer would move his foot up and down slowly. The suspect might then extend his hand under the divider between the stalls, sometimes repeatedly. That would be enough to get the man busted.
Airport police reports obtained by The Associated Press gave strikingly similar accounts of the events that led to the 41 arrests officers made for alleged lewd conduct in public restrooms in the main terminal of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport during the May-August sting.

Irrelevant under these circumstances. Craig did not make an Alford plea (and courts are increasingly reluctant to allow them). You have to explicitly make an Alford plea for it to be effective.
[They both stand in the bags, so no one can see that the two of them are engaged.]
It sure is odd that they go to such lengths to cover up their activities when they are so full of “pride”.
Pride and arrogance...

I haven't read a transcript of the guilty plea so I don't know of the relevance. Regardless, I was commenting on your assertion that "A guilty plea generally removes all possible doubt".
I rarely have seen a judge refuse to accept an Alford plea. Also, I don't know what you mean by "explicitly", but you can make an Alford plea without ever mentioning you're making an "Alford plea". If you tell the judge that you believe you are innocent but want to plead guilty because you acknowledge that if you went to trial there is a good likelihood that you could be found guilty, you have made an Alford plea.
Memo to self - don't listen to iPod in men's room.
Oh, that's right, I don't own an iPod...
That's what the caller and the host on talk radio were saying, too. They also said: He could've had one leg out, but, if so, that alone is freakish. So, even if the senator is telling the truth, he was engaging in strange behavior.
Rubbish,
Craig exhibited a strange, but specific, pattern of behavior that the police were looking for that indicated he was a homosexual trolling for anonymous sex and he was doing it in a known location for that to happen.
And guess what! After being identified solely by his own actions as a homosexual looking for anonymous sex, it transpires that indeed he has long been been suspected by many people to be a closet homosexual and his local paper even have a witness that they comfortable enough to go to print with that says Craig has done this before.
Nobody targeted Craig in this sting, he identified himself to the police by his own bizarre actions which, coincidentally, subsequently corroborated long held rumors and suspicions.
If you think that protecting young children from having to witness sodomy and fellatio in a public restroom is a indication that we live in a police state then you and I have very different views of the world we live in.
If he was out cruising to get his pole smoked, I'd imagine he'd be traveling solo.
I can’t say the same. I’ve never had any need for causal sex. I can’t say I don’t have fantasies but I’d never sleep around even though it would be easy to do so if I desired to. I think it is degrading and indicates a lack of maturity. Sexuality should be a part of building relationships not just some thing to do. I know plenty would disagree but all one has to do is judge from the outcomes of such unconstrained lives and it is easy to see what is the correct path even if it doesn’t allow one the indulgence the way they think they would like.
It is unfortunate the negative affect that homosexual activism and the porn industry has had on shaping sexual attitudes. The good thing is most people grow up eventually and get tired of going through life with nothing but overworn fantasies in place of what could have been their memories of the children they weren’t there for.
Sex and entertainment have come to replace so much of value and skew our desires in ways that those things which do not satisfy us and do not last have replaced the priority of living honorably and with a common connection to those around us that doesn’t involve our private parts.
To each his own.
I believe that sex is the most beautiful and wonderful thing money can buy. [/joking]
They are at MOST universities, and lots of other places...
Homosexuality is a MENTAL DISORDER folks...
One of the mens room’s at my university had all of the stall doors removed because it had become so popular with these sicko sodomites that they simply removed all the doors from all the stalls.
You sure read a lot into this. Wonder why you have so much baggage.
You could be right about that. My impression is that these folks never go anywhere without a couple of staffers to make them look and feel important.
Actually it's Larry Craig that has all the baggage and he uses it in a way consistent with gays soliciting anonymous sex in public restrooms....LOL
I have heard of women being accosted by lesbians in restrooms, but it seems to be fairly rare. Likewise, one never hears that restrooms or public parks have been taken over by lesbians engaging in sexual activity.
May be consistent, but that does not make it so. It becomes an opp;ortunity to see who can stick to the facts and rules of evidence and who cannot.
Another one is asking someone if they have the time. A straight person will tell you the time. But they mean “Do you have the time for a XXXX”.
