Kasich was beyond embarrassing on the factor tonight, he is an idiot. He was claiming that the words of a rocker are equivalent to the words of a Presidential candidate, and Kasich was harder on Nugent than he was on Obama.

I can’t stand Kasich and although I watched some of the show tonight, I couldn’t stay with it all the way through. Kasich just doesn’thave the wit or wisdom to be a commentator on the air, and truth be known he showed an awful lot of stupid tendancies tonight.

I’m coming out of my self-imposed exile to comment on this (then I’m going back, so I will not answer anything...so you can say anything you want about me, I’m sure you guys will).

That video will come back to haunt him. He was entertaining the notion of running for public office. He can forget about that now. It was childish. Fine...he did it, he’s owning it. Still doesn’t make it right.

I had a neighbor in North Carolina who, at the time, had a son about four years old. This family was a great family, and they took no guff from their children. One day, my daughter was in the back seat with him as we drove to something or other, and she started crying. This little boy looked over at her and yelled: “Suck it up, be a man!!”. He hollered it at her, and I couldn’t stop laughing. We yell that at liberal wussies on TV all the time now.

I don’t care what he said on stage. The fact he had a firearm and was handling it recklessly only hurt law abiding gun owners.

Nuge put it to him pretty good! I’ve not ever heard whining from show host, like I heard tonight from Kasick. Don’t get me wrong, I like Kasich, but he was out of his league tonight.

Compare what Nuge the rocker said and what elected Democrats say about our troops and the President nearly everyday. No contest. Kaisch is a wuss, never watch him.

Liberals accuse people of crimes they did not commit such as John Kerry accusing fellow veterans, that served a lot longer than he did, of war crimes they did not commit. What is wrong with a little name calling, I know, you are not supposed to say things about people, even if it is true.

You conservatives keep watching your “tone”, while the left continues to eat your lunch.

I saw it. The NUge was just being himself, and Kasich asked the same basic questions anyone would ask, and mentioned he’d been the subject of attacks as well. No big deal. He wasn’t “owned” (what are you, 12?). He just got typical strong Nugent.

Kasich is anti-gun . He supported and voted for the Klinton gun ban, among other infringements .

Somebody set me straight, since I don’t have cable and only saw a blurry vid clip: The Nuge came on stage with real weapons, not props? Were they loaded? Was he loaded? Was he making a threat to an actual politician WHILE holding a REAL weapon? If so, he is going to be a very closely watched man, and I would be truly amazed if he has not already had a visit or 2 from the Secret Service. And yes, it is a black day for gun owners as his will become the image that all the gun grabbers use to gin up their base, and pass lord only knows how many new and oppressive laws.

I wish I had seen this — missed the segment both times it came on last night. I also have to watch the video referred to.

One thing I think a lot of people don’t like about Ted is that he will say and do things that most of us are afraid to. He doesn’t give a rat’s behind about being politically correct. Bravo to him! Wish I had his courage.

My favorite is when Kasich kept telling Nuge that he knows rock and roll. I about died. Maybe if Ted had just bitten the head off of some animal on stage, none of this would have happened.
