Over the years, I have thought about getting a tattoo. Surprising considering my fear of needles! lol I see them everywhere on every classs of person, I see the artwork vary from onr body to another. What causes someone to decide to have a tattoo. Is it cultural? Is it a fad? I am seriously thinking about it now. Any stories, suggestions? Thank you!
Are you merely giving in to a peer-pressure or "tribal identity" fad?
What is the message that you want to convey, and is a tattoo the best or even an adequate way to do that?
Will you have the money, time, and fortitude to have it removed if you ever discover how foolish an idea it actually was?
Why desecrate your body. And suppose Hillary becomes president and you have to go on the run because of your beliefs. Will you have a mark on your body to make it easy to be identified?
Your attitude incidates that you are the type to treat people as you decide that they deserve. Nice. That's what the road rage freaks do. Or Hillary. It is no big deal for most people to be decent towards widows, orphans, and the downtrodden.
This doctor used his position of trust to stick it to low lifes because he believed that the thug(s) deserved it.
At least the prison scum is the same on the outside as on the inside. This "professional" has two faces.
Did you see the OCC episode where Sr. called Miami Ink to get some new Tattoos? Kat answered the phone and was very rude, condescending and belittling to Pauly Sr.'s girlfriend.
Nope..
I have read every one of the HP novels, and enjoyed them all.
And You Do Know that Satan is the great deceiver, right?
Just because the offer is made in the form of a jest, doesn't affect your acceptance of it one bit.
It just means Satan "tricked" you.. ( Doh! )
It is the acceptance, not the medium that is permanent.
The physical mark may wash off the body, or be removed by other means, but the mark upon your soul is permanent.
It cannot be hidden from Satan, or from God.

To be honest with you, I had never heard of it before... My "introduction" to televised tattooing was seeing Carey Hart on an episode of "The Surreal Life," then catching a few episodes of "Inked." But then I just happened upon LA Ink the other night, and I thought, "WOW! She's pretty hot... Except for all the tattoos!" Actually, I think that all the girls that work in that shop are really cute. As you can tell, I suppose I've got a completely different reason for watching that show than most "ink" fans...
Mark
I've never seen either show. The tattoos really gross me out.
I watch American Chopper because the Teutuls are such characters and Paulie Jr.'s creations are so unique. I never would ride a motorcycle myself.
LOL. Nice try.
Running around the corner after a final bit of name calling is for 3rd graders, not for mature adults with reasoning abilities.
Your intial flippant remark was shown to be ludicrous on the face of it, while my post to which you objected was demonstrated to be clearly justifiable.
Rather than simply issuing a “touche,” you shifted gears and attempted to argue that nobody is supposed to hit the reply button on a response to an initial post, unless invited to do so.
I dealt with that, in detail, because you seem to have difficulty understanding what a public forum is all about. Further, I demonstrated that your argument was hypocritical on the face of it, because you were violating your own ill-reasoned response.
You countered with pure ad hominem attacks - suggesting my response was too passionate, and that I was taking things too seriously.
That was a deflection. You made no no attempt to address my argument as to why your second charge was all wrong, and you showed no ability to recognize your own hypcrosy.
You now admit that all you heard was “blah blah blah,” but chose to claim victory and that I wasn’t listening. I listened, and responded. You admitted that you chose not to hear (for very obvious reasons).
Precious. Your refusal to hear, or address my argument, is the moment that you were defeated. That you can’t admit it does not alter that fact.
Wow. I bet you have problems getting out of bed in the morning.
Let me guess:
1) Makeup is also the "mark of the beast?"
2) Dancing invites the devil into your body?
3) Shaving your beard is defiling God's body?
4) Driving a car is a blasphemous, unnatural, unGodly act?
5) Women should walk behind their men?
6) You will go to Heaven. All those who skated to Hell?
Your buddy has a God complex. It makes him no better than the gang bangers or convicts. That you approve puts you in the same camp.
Body graffiti plain and simple. Be unique and avoid them.
Not having read the prior posts...you have just committed the same offence brother/sister. Your post was all about claiming victory.
Amen! God really wanted me to have these tattoos. He helped me come up with some great ideas.
Humans have always, always been tattooed up. It's the state of mankind--we had a weird cultural time when they went underground, but that time has passed.
Ewww... Hard to take advice from someone who can't even spell "tattoo".
She doesn’t seem to be enjoying her tat anymore!
Yeah, but you have to put her on your belly so you can make her dance!
