“Do not post to me”

We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

It is later than you think, if you think.
If you don’t think, it is too late.

I think I am thinking, therefore I think I am....
All this circularity spinning around, down into a singularity...
I think I am thinking I need a nap....or a really early bed time tonight...

It’s never too late.
Unless you’re dead.
And feeling sleepy is why I go to bed so early at night. ;o]
Of course, I lie in bed and read for two hours.... Being single has definite advantages.

I read most of the last Harry Potter book while lying in bed.
Usually, that won’t work for me. Most of the time, I read sitting up.

I read sitting up, as well, but I find myself slipping father and farther down the pillows.... And then my eyelids slam shut, and I have to turn off the light.

I just read a submarine novel...sitting up, laying down, on my left side, and my right. It was a very flexible novel.

I worked up a submarine for a potential novel.
It was a “run silent” civilian model, operating on fuel cells. It used an artificial whale design, with fins and flukes instead of propellers.

Not so fictional....
I was reading (I forget where) that some university is doing research with the Navy on a propulsion system for underwater drones that is modeled on the fin motion of some fish—can’t remember that either—that gets the most efficient propulsion from the movement of its’ fins.
I would love to be here 100 years from now to see what marvels the human mind will dream up. That’s IF humans are still here.

Too many people whine to the mods as it is. If you can’t take it, don’t post!!!
To: rottndog
I think it was the tuna.
I also used all-electric propulsion by moving ferrofluids in hydraulic pistons to sweep the fins. No bang and clang of pumps and valves.
My sub used expanses of gill-like devices to extract oxygen from the ocean for combination with the fuel in the fuel cell. It was the best I could do without Nuclear.
I’m not waiting a hundred years for the future to arrive, I’m making it up now.

I wonder how much of today’s technology started off as a fanciful idea for a story.
