“Do not post to me”

We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

Cold, and a nasty one.
But it got me to finally tackle a project that's been unaddressed for way too long -- selecting and processing photos from my visit to Paris last October. It's been difficult to get into because the lighting was just horrible that day and every single shot needs work.

Ummm.... no, thanks.
If anyone's interested I might be able to make the pictures available. One of the drivers for getting these done is that I was asked for photos by a member of the Egyptian delegation and I've been puzzling over the best way to deliver them to her. But there are some photo sites now where you can post photos, and folks can download or order prints if they like.

Ugh. Went for a glass of water and looked outside. Bright sun, just warm enough, with that perfect late-summer lighting, the kind I’d rather be out with the camera because we don’t get many days like this.

Yep, just drove the wife outside, it is 100 degrees in Los Angeles.
Great day to paint indoor with that oil based paint for sure. :-)

Definitely an inside day here.... "Inside days" here start around 80. But it's bad news then because we don't have A/C.

No oil based paints here...
Just had the walls and ceilings textured, so I’m using PVA primer paint, and that raw mud just sucks it up. I’m not even done with the first coat, and I will probably have to buy another 5 gallon bucket....just the primer!

That was one of the first upgrades my wife made me do to the house when we moved back in....central air (she was pregnant with our first at the time). I had to sell my S10 Blazer to pay for it, but it is WELL worth the money.

Actually, up until we had central air, my wife preferred being driven around outside....the a/c in the truck worked beautifully.
