I saw plenty of guys wearing those abominations at the preppy university I attended.

Oops, I meant “barf”, not “bark”. Geez, what a fumble-typer!

(Although, if a color made me bark, I suppose I wouldn't like it very much either. ;-)

I actually went and bought a pink shirt this past year. I don’t care what some might think, I just look good in it. I don’t play with dolls, I don’t paint my nails. I scratch and fart like any other guy. I just do it in my pink shirt...

It is hilarious to me to watch Style channel with all those so called ‘gay’ guys trying to teach real women how to dress and be sexy.

They act so overtly feminine that it is unreal. They act nothing like a woman. It is like they imitate a caricature of some fantasy of what they think a female is. And they think they are better at being a woman than real women.
(this is because they are still men, and men always think they are better at everything than women. Even when it comes to being a woman.)

Flipping their wrists all around, speaking with a lisp, ever so dainty and quick to scream, obsessed with hair, clothing, decoration, etc. Granted there are some women who are genuinely like that, but come on.

A man is always a man and will always be a man. He will always have the male chromosome no matter if he chops off his Johnson and lisps and simply ‘adooores’ pink.

He cannot not become a woman. He is simply a surgically altered guy with some deep psychological issues.

"Red lips make men subconsciously think about other red lip-like things found,..."

Lol! You're right, but for the wrong reasons. Female facial makeup correlates very closely with the physiological changes that occur when a woman is sexually aroused:

I agree. I cringe every time a read a story of a guy doing that - and there's no way back.

Hmm, I sense a large government grant: Gender Preference and its Effect on Chromatic Preferences.

You are probably right. However, I still think we owe a debt to the seminal work on such research, to wit:

Another retarded waste of money on a retarded study with retarded assumptions as to why it is why it is.

Someone paid for this BS.

The research was done at Newcastle University in the UK, so this time it was probably the British taxpayers who footed the bill for this stunning achievement.

Here's a link to Prof. Hurlbert's home page.

The good professor herself apparently does not share her female subjects' preference for pink, as we can see in her photo:

She seems a bit washed out to me.

Yeah. It’s evolution. Right. Everything is evolution. I like chocolate - must be evolution ... oh, and I like sportscars - must be evolution. I like comfortable shoes - must be evolution. But dang, those high heeled boots are awesome, too -— must be evolution.

The term homosexual is considered insulting by some, because it is a sterile clinical term. That term focuses only on certain behavior and not the whole person, so some in that community don’t like that term anymore.

The term mohammedan is considered offensive to those who prefer to be called muslims.

LOL I LOVE your post.

“They act so overtly feminine that it is unreal. They act nothing like a woman. It is like they imitate a caricature of some fantasy of what they think a female is.”

You know, some man who experienced this behavior said this exact same thing!

My husband’s co-worker once worked at a Home Depot or some such. He said he was asked for help by a “couple” and he showed them what they wanted. 1 of the “men” began jumping up and down and clapping just like you describe, screaming out “I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!!” At which point co-worker just couldn’t help but instinctively laugh! They complained to the manager - who “reprimanded” co-worker in front of them, but told him he really couldn’t blame him for laughing! Co-worker told husband “WOMEN don’t act like that - it’s just WACKO!”

“And they think they are better at being a woman than real women.(this is because they are still men, and men always think they are better at everything than women. Even when it comes to being a woman.)”

LOL!

Why is it that whenever research such as this is released, the “scientist” then have to spin a speculative just-so story to explain the observation in evolutionary terms.

I would bet that the preference is cultural and not hardwired at all.

Women have much finer color recognition. I work with color copiers and similar equipment. If you are a technician and are having trouble getting the color balance on a machine just right do not ask a woman to look at a test copy. You will be there all day.
